In this course, we learn how to create a full android application. The app will be a productivity app which you can use to keep your daily diaries. By the end of the course you will have created your first app which you can then modify and upload to Google Play or use in your own device. The app will work smoothly and doesn't need any internet connectivity or any special settings. You just install and start using.

What will you learn in this course?

In the process of creating our app, you will learn some of the latest and advanced technologies and design patterns that are in demand right now. These include:

• Clean Architecture - Creating your app using the MVVM design pattern. MVVM stands for Model View ViewModel and is right now the design pattern used by the best android engineers in the industry. MVVM allows you to architect highly testable and maintainable apps.
• Android Jetpack Components - Recently Google has introduced the android jetpack, which is a suite of components and patterns to allow you to create great apps. In this course, we utilize some of them like the Room, LiveData, and ViewModel.
• SQLite database - using the Room as our data access layer.
• RecyclerView - How to create a custom beautiful expandable recycler view without any library.
• BottomNavigationView
• Activities etc.
