In this section we're going to learn about the dial and how we can use it to raise our self worth in any situation. So what is the dial? The dial is a Simple NLP construct used to change things, or create change. Many people started by using the Dow as a type of thermostat through this pain, increase money or any other type of change that you want to create in your life. through extensive work with my clients, I found that many people have difficulty creating change in their lives because they don't feel worthy or deserving of that change. I also found that by simply raising your self worth in a specific situation is enough to create the desired change that you want to get.
We can use this style to easily raise our self worth. But what I found is that that simple dial than your head is often not enough to create the change. We need to have absorption when we're doing the process. We need to have listened to our unconscious Mind and we need to give the message to our unconscious mind of where we want to get to. To create absorption, I have you reach out with your hand and touch the dial. So the unconscious mind believes that the dad that you're that you're reaching out and touching is actually real.
I also have you point with your other hand to where you feel the feeling inside of you. As he touched the dial, that also creates a level of more reality to the unconscious mind. It also creates a somatic bridge between the inside neurology and the outside neurology. And wherever you are pointing to also is the address of this the somatic address of the experience the program or the reference that we are holding inside of us that is holding us or keeping us where we are stuck. So when we give it the attributes such as the color and everything else, what we're actually doing is giving The attributes of that container, which is that that semantic address, which is creating the semantic bridge between the inside and the outside, which is all opening to create the absorption, which the unconscious mind needs in order to be able to create the changes we wanted to create.
Now, another important thing we have to do is we have to be able to listen to our unconscious mind. So how do we listen to our unconscious mind? the unconscious mind usually talks in a soft voice, almost like a when you almost always have a desire to edit it. And you will never believe that it's actually true. Your conscious voice the louder one will say No, that can't be that can't be. We do not want to listen to that conscious voice that's louder.
You want listen to that first thing that pops into our mind that when that soft voice and that is what is the unconscious mind giving us the message. So if I see a point with your finger, where you feel it wherever your finger goes to even if it seems totally ludicrous to point to your knee, that's where it's being stored, that we want you to point to, we want to create that bridge between what you're feeling outside of the dial to whatever containers held inside your knee. At that point, listen to your unconscious mind, you'll get a lot more out of it. Now, we have to also set up the dial when we mess up the dial. In order for unconscious mind to do the work we want it to do, we have to tell it where we want to get to, we also have to show it where we are right now.
So whenever we set up the dial, you have to keep in mind what our point A is, that will be the beginning point. And what a point B is, that will be the end point. And what the scale in between is going to be. Now in general is a scale between zero to 10. If it works better for you zero to 100, to zero to 100, zero to 1000 to it's up to 1000. It doesn't make a difference, whatever works well for you.
In general, when I want more of something tend to raise the dial Turn it up. When I want less of something, I tend to turn the dial down. So if let's say I want more money, I will use as a starting point, whatever I'm earning right now. And the end point is where I want to get to, and I will turn the dial from where I am now up to where I want to get to. On the other hand, if I'm feeling depression, I want less depression, my high level would be the starting point. And I want to get down to zero because I want less depression.
Each number or step on the dial represents some experience referenced or program. Holding the dial word is and holding you where you are, where you feel your body is the somatic address of the container that's holding inside of it. That experience reference or program. You can have more than one container health in a specific place, which is why sometimes when you do the dial you You'll find yourself going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. Because you have many experiences or many containers over there that you have to release the set, it could be more than one Experience Program memory, storage, each number step in each container, or in each place, you might have numerous containers in the same area of your body, you might have numerous, numerous experiences within the container, it doesn't really make a difference.
It's all just a matter of semantics, what you are doing as you turn the dial back and forth, and back and forth. As you're releasing each one of those experiences, programs or memories. We must keep turning out back and forth and back and forth and till we can no longer turn it because if you can still turn it, it means there's still something that's holding you back where you don't want to be. If the dial is not stuck at the point which you want to be at the end and we haven't finished the work, which is why I often say try turning it back again. See if it goes or see what happens instead, if it still goes continue the work. Now we don't need to know what those memories programs references are the unconscious knows and it releases it automatically.
What we need to do is set our intention where we want to get to, which is the point be on the dial or the other end of the gauge, get the top or be at the bottom, or unconscious mind does the rest for us. Now, often people say how come when I do other processes, I don't feel sick. But when I do this process, I begin to feel a little bit sick a little bit nauseous. I feel shift of some sort shivers you ons or some other thing. And the reason for that is because you're doing very, very quick work. As you were releasing these processes, you're almost doing a little releasing to the nausea and through burping and through yawning or feeling the shift of change in inside view, it's almost literal work that you're doing in releasing those programs or those things that are holding you to where you were.
Now, as you turn the dial memories may arise, usually they don't. But they may arise, you can either just allow your unconscious mind to continue do the work by turning the dial back and forth, back and forth. If it's a really big memory and you feel it's not doing it fast enough, you can take a staff break, work on that memory to change it with any processes you might have of changing that memory, and then go back to your dial and continue work. Sometimes when I work with clients, it seems the dial stuck in a certain place and they can't move it. What you do then is you take out your little imaginary screwdriver and that little screw that's holding them in place. you loosen it just a tad and usually that will fix the problem that will stroke over again.
Once again, that little screwdriver is just a message the unconscious mind to say it's okay to release this problem, this issue this memory, this reference for this program is longer serving us, you want to change it so that we can get to work and point. Same thing goes with its tools. If it's spinning too fast and doesn't feel to be doing anything, take out that little tiny screwdriver, tighten the screw that's holding the violin place. And once again, it will start paying the changes that we want. Now how long can this take from my personal experience, it takes anywhere between a few seconds to few minutes. Although I have had people working on the dial for as much as 20 minutes, half an hour, or even as little as just a few seconds.
Any of those are normal. Even if it's longer than half an hour, it can still be normal. There's no normal to this it just whatever it does, it does whatever it takes it takes to recap, the dial is an NLP construct. It can be used to raise your self worth as well as create other changes. absorption in the process is in coordinate element for the proper Access to Work optimally. Listening to unconscious mind is also important for the process to work optimally.
It's important to set up the Dow properly as it gives the intention or the instruction to the unconscious mind for what we want the unconscious mind to do for us. If you can still turn the dial at the end of the process, you aren't yet done. It needs to go to the point where it's stuck at the last number where you want to get to that point B. You can't change it anymore.
