So I have my sketch here. And when I noticed between the picture and the sketches that the tilt of the head is off, the head is tilted more here than it is here. So as I kind of transfer this drawing over to my finish drawing and painting, I'm going to, you know, be mindful of that. You can take the photo and enlarge it on your computer and print it to whatever size you want and then draw it onto the light table. To me, that's kind of cheating because it doesn't really teach you how to draw in the end. So what I like to do is actually just take the picture dried on by hand, and do it with you know, mechanical pencil or number two pens.
So that's going to be fairly easy to use and fairly light if it does stay under painting. So we're gonna do that. Again, you know, it's like I do this so that I remember the changes, I need to pay attention to the shadows I need to pay attention to, is there for myself, then that's, you know that that keeps you learning how to draw. If you just copy the image, then you're not really teaching yourself how to draw and that that leaves you in that space of just coughing from photos and things like that which is not helpful as an artist. So I'm going to be trying to make sure that I get this line of the eyes correct. So that it is a little more accurate.
Lights over here. Almost a little more than halfway up. At the height of the chin that's pretty cool So we're pretty close there. Seems exaggerated when you're trying sometimes, but it's good to pay attention and trust the person always come out with exactly right. You know, I'm paying attention to sometimes I'm looking at this now. So I could go back to this whole thing now.
And this is just this is kind of how composition lot of work. It can be, you know, I'm not always that patient but for the sake of argument here, but it doesn't matter as much if it's accurate something Brush helps me to clean up debris off much. So, let's see a little bit of the pencil marks in my notes. Part of it is making sure Looks pretty good. That's also helps to have a general sense of anatomy as you do these things. So get a pretty good idea of where things might go and when something is off.
I'll be honest with you, I've not studied Karen as a mere beyond You know, having my own cats for a long time. And, you know, watching them so they get a sense and once you kind of know where hearing the anatomy goes, it's easier to extrapolate from that where something else goes. So we have a pretty good sense of market. This guidelines to be too heavy. Really, this is probably more than I would put down. But more so I can see what I'm doing.
So there we are. We have a sense of What's gonna go with you can get
