So here's a data bar dashboard that I'm going to show you how to create. And the idea is you're going to have a goal. In our case, our goal is 100,000, right? 59% complete here. 65 now, and this big red cell right here is actually a formula that's equal to b 14 right there. So 65,000 is what we have going on here.
It's the complete total of these cells right here, except thousand. And every time we add sales here, it's getting closer to our goal. Okay, so some prerequisites is I selected a group of cells and I merged them together. Then I went to conditional format, and I did a data bar on just one cell. I'm gonna go to Manage Rules to show you that here it is, and edit rule. So I've got show bar Oh, What's happening here, that's why you don't see the actual number inside of it, then we've got the lowest value is zero minimum, and the largest is equal to b 15, which in this case is 100,000.
Over here on the side here, change color up, as you see here. I'm gonna make mine now blue. Let's make a blue bowl here. And I'll just show you, I'm going to take off show bar only just so you can actually see the number in there, here. Just like that. Okay, so then that is how it's going to go there.
And so as we continue plugging away here, let me change this to 20,000 are getting closer and closer that is pretty awesome. That you can see there. So again, go to conditional formatting, Manage Rules, edit, and you're going to want to probably show bar only have to zero now the other thing is you could also Set the maximum to any requirement right here too as well just hard code it as well. That would work as well. And then after you're done, you can preview that there. So looks like we just need to pick up $7,000 more to complete our goal going to do that here 27,000 and that's going to complete our data bar conditional for a dashboard here.
