Conditional Formatting color scales help us determine patterns and trends within the data. So the first step would be select your data, Home tab, conditional formatting, color scales. So at first, I recommend you just hover over each one and try to see if you see a pattern here, which I do I happen to see, New York has the largest values. So after you decide to click one that will do it kind of step back, kind of, you know, rearview mirror, you can look at the data here from a high level view and just discovered that New York has the largest values averaging over all the rest of them. Do you want it to change up kind of how it looks go to conditional formatting, Manage Rules, and you can actually pick your own colors? In other words, what do you want the high values to look like?
And pick your color here. So if I'd like it to be red for hot and maybe blue For cold, I'm going to kind of just kind of create a little range like that. And that's going to be my barometer if you will, from that. So great way to analyze data and look for heart hard large numbers or small numbers here.
