Hi, Rob coming here. So we've got a functioning menu over on the right here of home about me courses blog, contact me. So let's edit and add content to the homepage. So in order to edit the homepage with course, go to the pages link on the left hand side here at the WordPress dashboard, and then find the homepage and click on that. So we're going to paste in some text here for the homepage title, reclaim your life by setting and achieving meaningful goals. Okay, so I pasted in a paragraph of text and then added an image by going add media, given the image, a good keyword rich title and a keyword rich alt text, the image is centered, and then we've got three more paragraphs.

So I'm going to update that. And now let's refresh the homepage. Case of the text and paragraphs and the image have come in, okay, and the title, we don't have any sub headings, it's probably a good idea to put in some subheadings as well. However, the homepage has changed its name, and therefore, the link in the menu is now this very long title and doesn't say home anymore. So we need to change that. So we go into appearance, menus.

And here is the menu that we put in the header to the right of the site title. And there is the homepage that we changed the title of, if we click on that arrow there, we need to change the navigation label. So the navigation label should just be home, even though the title of that page is a much longer title. So we've done that we'll save menu, and then we'll go back to the size and refresh. And there we've got a good looking homepage and we've made sure The navigation label in the top navigation bar or menu is still home.
