As you saw with Tool #1, breathing is a great way to support your overall health. It is also one of the simplest ways to push your reset button and feel calmer, more relaxed, and help all the functions in your body work better. You may also notice better digestion, sleep, and improved mood, and so much more. Breathing intentionally will do amazing things for your health filling your body with oxygen (which we know is critical for our health), energy, and wellness.

Here is one breathing pattern you can try.

  • Inhale for 4 counts
  • Hold for 4 counts
  • Exhale for 4 counts
  • Hold for 4 counts

Repeat 3 times. Here is another popular breathing pattern.

  • Inhale for 4 counts
  • Hold for 4 counts
  • Exhale for 6 counts
  • Hold for 2 counts

Repeat 3 times. This is another great breathing pattern to try.

  • Inhale for 4 counts
  • Hold for 7 counts
  • Exhale for 8 count
