Something else that's been really, really useful for me is actually going ahead and recording training videos for my virtual assistants to help them basically complete tasks. This could be anything from learning how to use WordPress, learning how to edit content on the site. Just doing really basic tasks. You know, I've even helped virtual assistants helped me add products to my sites, when it comes to e commerce, there's really just a number of things that you can do, really makes it a lot easier to help people. I wanted to give one example of a recent virtual assistant I hired I found someone on Upwork and basically had brought them on. They originally done some work with the WordPress WooCommerce platform to help me add some products to my site.

So I knew they were already knowledgeable of adding products, but I actually have a Shopify store where I needed some new products added. And I didn't really want to do this myself. I know I could, but it's very, very tedious work. It's almost like data entry level. And you know, you're just basically saving images Copying descriptions and adding some tags and basic other fields pricing, things like that. So what I did was I actually made a 10 minute video of me going and doing this with one product.

I did a live version of this on my own store. And then I sent the video in a private I made it a private YouTube video that was unlisted. Only she could watch it or anyone with the link. And I'll actually mention in the next lecture, I'm going to show you a piece of software that I use to do this, this will be helpful for you. If you decide you'd like to invest in something like this. It's called Camtasia, or ScreenFlow.

For Mac, basically what I use to record, you can use something like this to actually go out there and record a video and give your virtual assistant tasks. Now, in my case, when it comes to content writing, when I was paying up to $1,000 a month for content, I actually needed a lot of this published on different websites. So what I did was I actually trained a virtual assistant that worked with my content manager to go out there. And actually log into the WordPress sites, post the content and then we had a system, so they would then send me a link. And I would know exactly where it was. And I could go easily check on it, see if everything was done properly.

So this is something that's gonna be really important for you, if you're doing anything that's more volume oriented, it's very possible that you're probably just gonna, you know, you might maybe you're working on a site where you need lots of content for like a niche, I have a site that's in the cat niche. So I had people writing content for that. And in my case, I actually decided to publish it myself. But really, if you train someone to do that publishing, you could literally outsource that entire process, you could just maybe be doing the research for the content, having them go out there, you know, create the content, and then have maybe someone else or that same person then publishing that content. You know, you if you kind of streamline these things, you can really save yourself a lot of time. So I'm going to show you Camtasia in the next video, and then in the video.

After that, I'm going to actually get Give you a live example of a training video that I did for one of my virtual assistants. So you can kind of get an idea of what it is I showed them and how that works. You know, maybe you can create something similar when you hire someone, it's really going to help things move along more smoothly, especially if you're working with people in other time zones, things like that. And maybe the language barrier isn't 100% you know, just things like that. So keep this in mind and check out these next videos.
