Clapping for the calves. In this video I'm going to be showing you how to do cupping for the calves. Create a two by two cupping grid starting at the lateral and medial heads of the gastrocnemius aka the calf. Then add two more medium sized cups right below them. You might have to drop down the size cup based on the size of your clients cap. Then add two more smaller size cups right below those lateral to the Achilles tendon.

You should now have a two by four cupping grid on the calves. Now bring the clients right ankle up coach them to bring their foot down and flex it and then point their toes. Expect one of the cups to pop off and go fly. So be on your toes so to speak. Lower than leg down to the table and then remove the cups. Now suction to three cups down the middle of the calves, depending on the size of the client's calf, however, the number may decrease or increase depending on the size of your clients cap.

Then on either side had two smaller size cups But as you can see this makes the bottom large cup in the middle pop up. So I'll replace that with a medium sized cup. Next, add a smaller sized cup right below that one, so you'll have four cups in the center. add one more smaller sized cup on either side. You can be creative when you cup as long as you're covering up with a calf muscle. Now flex the knee and bring the leg up.

Coast the clients actively flex and point their toes several times. Now remove all the cups. Next, use one cup to glide several times across the muscle belly of the cat. Finish with F broad strokes up towards the back of the knee.
