In this video, what we're going to do is talk about how you can automate pretty much everything. This is one of the key parts that is going to set your business free and actually give you a lot more free time because once we set this up properly, a pretty big part of your business can run on complete autopilot. What I'm going to show you is how to pretty much have your own salesperson working for you 24 seven without you having to do anything, we just do a little bit of work once, then we set it up and it goes on automatically and does all the selling for you. The thing that I'm talking about is setting up a powerful email autoresponder powerful you know, autoresponder campaigns that have the capability to do all the work for you. The website you're seeing right now is called aweber.com.

And this is a piece of software that we've got to use to automate This entire process. This is where you can save your email lists. When you build your email list, you can use a piece of software like Aweber to have all your contacts laid out there. And then you can use AWeber to send emails to all those contacts automatically. And a lot of other cool features that we're going to talk about in this course, as you can see, the first month here is currently free. And then it's only $19 per month to get started with AWeber.

I already have an account, but actually created a brand new account, just so that I could show you how everything looks like from scratch. This is where you need to sign up. But since I'm already signed up, what I'm going to do is pause this video and then go ahead and sign in. And I'll see you inside the members area in just a second. All right, I'm logged in. As I said, this is a brand new account that I set up just for the sake of showing you what a new account looks like so that you would know exactly what you need to do if you're just starting out.

This is the homepage of your AWeber account. What I want to show you in this video is how to create a list and explain a little bit what these lists are. Then later on the course, we're going to take a look at a few other videos that have to do with AWeber. And you'll see exactly how to plug in some emails in your autoresponder and other similar stuff. Let's go ahead and create the first list. Because there are a few tricks and tips that I want to teach you to make sure that you maximize the amount of money that you're going to make from these email lists.

Let's go ahead and create the first list because there are a few tricks and tips that I want to teach you to make sure that you maximize the amount of money that you're going to make from these email lists. The first thing that we want to do is go here to do manage lists. Once you're there, then you'll want to click create a list give it a second to load. For some reason. AWeber is a little stuck. Here we go.

First, you've got your company name. As I said, this is just a test account. So I'm putting JRT over here as the company name You would put your own name, if you don't have a company register, then you've got the, your company website, if you don't have it, no need to place any website in here, it's all good, then you've got the address, you need to have an address. One little trick that I've learned is that in case you don't want to use your own address over here, for some reason, you can go to a website like my us calm. And for about $10 I think you can register an account there, and they're going to give you a forwarding address, you could just use that forwarding address, and then you won't be breaking the law. You just simply don't want to put in your own address when somebody sends you mail, which I very much doubt that it's going to happen.

But if it does happen, then you're still in compliance with the US can spam law and you're going to get whatever message was sent over a mail to your address because this other company is going to forward it to you. It's just a little tip not a big deal. If you want to use your own address, that's cool as well. I just know some people might find this a bit of a problem soon case Do just wanted to give you a solution for that. Now the next thing is the sender name. This is very important.

You want to put your own name, whatever your name is just put it there. Don't try to play with it and put some weird stuff in there. Because it's always best the most to be coming from your own name. In that case, you're branding yourself and making people remember your name. Definitely go with your own name. Now, for the sender email, I don't recommend you go with a gmail address simply because a Weber doesn't like it too much.

I think also you might have some problems with some emails not being delivered to your subscribers. What do you want to do is just get a domain name, any domain name is fine, and then go with something like this, either info at your domain name.com or you can put your own name at your domain name.com and that's it. Then let's click on next step. The next thing is to actually create the email list when it comes to naming The email list, it's not really that important. You just need to come up with a name that you will remember, let's say you want to promote health and fitness. So you would put health and fitness Simple as that.

The next thing is briefly describe the emails your subscribers are going to receive. As you can see here, your subscribers will see this description. For example, if somebody wants to unsubscribe from your email list, then at the bottom of each email that you're going to send, they're going to have this link. That's absolutely fine. Everybody includes these links. It's just if somebody doesn't want to hear from you anymore, then you definitely don't want to make it hard for them to unsubscribe.

Just let them unsubscribe. That's all good. Everybody's going to get a few unsubscribes every now and then. That's okay. One thing that I like to do because my subscribers would see this description, that is if they click on the unsubscribe link, that's when they'll see it. I want to put some piece of copy in here just to make sure that if they're on the fence and they're thinking should I unsubscribe or should I stay on the list, then I want to give them something in here, just a little sentence to make them see that are important to me.

What I do is just put VIP tips on losing weight. That's it just VIP tips on losing weight. Then when they try to unsubscribe, they're going to see this message. And they're going to see this as a VIP email list. Sometimes, I even put in like this VIP email list, best tips on losing weight, or VIP email lists secret tips on losing weight. Now that you're done with that, just click next step.

Now the next thing is the little trick that I mentioned that I wanted to show you. And that's really important. Right now AWeber is asking you to confirm your email address. If you create approve message and create list. The next time somebody opts in to your email list, they're going to get this email and they'll have to click on the link before they're actually added onto your email list. And before you can actually start The emails.

A Weber is making you do this and that's okay. I'm going to do it now. I'm going to click Approve message and create list. But actually, that's not really in my best interest. Sometimes people are interested in your advice. So they subscribe to your list, but maybe they just don't put the email right then.

And then they come back in an hour or two, and they forget that they subscribed to your list and they're just not going to click the link and you're going to lose it perfectly good subscriber just because they forgot that they subscribed to your list. So you don't want to have them confirm that we want to remove the confirmation, we want to do a single opt in. What that means is when they type in their name and email, they click subscribe. They're on your list and that's it. No double opt in and we're not sending them another email to confirm. To do that, once you approve this message, all you need to do is go here to list options and then you want to go to list settings.

Then you want to go to Confirmed opt in over there. There we go. We just want to scroll down a little bit and just click off, confirm. And there we go. Now we have disabled the double opt in, and we're going to go with the single opt in, which means everybody who enters their name and email, they will be added on your email list automatically. This is pretty much it when it comes to creating your email list on AWeber.

The next thing that I want to show you is how to create a super simple signup form the signup form, this is something that you need to put on your website in order to get people to enter their name and email. This is that little technical code that you copy and paste it put in your website. And when somebody enters their name and email, it will automatically add them into AWeber, which means that this is how the technical part of building your list happens. I know it might sound a little difficult, but actually it's really really simple. Let me demonstrate how simple it is to create a form. Then later on, we're going to take a look at how to actually implement this form onto your website.

Got a few form designs over here. And if you just want to copy it to a website without using any special plugin, then yes, you can go ahead and design these. But in one of the next few videos, I'm going to show you how to actually get a really beautifully done design for this opt in form that's guaranteed to convert. Because of that I'm not going to play with this design in AWeber. I'm just going to go ahead and click go to step two. You'll see later on how exactly this form will receive just a beautiful looking design by simply copying and pasting something.

For the form name. Usually I just want to put the name of the page where I'm putting this. If I have maybe a landing page that's related to weight loss, seven tips on losing weight or something like that, they want to put seven tips on losing weight. That's going to be my form name so that I know where this form name actually goes and which page. The next thing is the thank you page. When it comes to the thank you page, you've got the basic version which a lot of people use.

If you click preview on this, you're going to see that it's been Just a simple page saying thank you for subscribing. That's actually how a lot of people even experienced marketers waste money. If somebody is going to subscribe to your list, it means they're interested in what you offer for free. Why would you just want to say thank you. And there, that's not a good idea. What do you want to do here is go to custom page.

And this is where you want to put a link for an offer. This can be an affiliate offer, it could be maybe a product that you have, whatever it is that you can sell to them, you want to put it here, you want to make sure it's related to what you told them on the squeeze page. If on the squeeze page, you told them about giving them seven tips on how to lose weight. And you want to make sure that this URL is for an offer that's related to weight loss, it's very important that the offers are related. For example, if on the squeeze page, you promise something on losing weight, and then you send them to a product that shows them how to build muscle that's not really related. You might get a few people who are interested in both, but it's not the best way to do it.

That's why you want to make sure whatever you're telling them on the squeeze page, and Whatever your reason is for getting them to subscribe to your list has to be related to this offer. I know right now you don't understand what a squeeze page is, and you don't really understand how to offer them anything. That's completely fine. We're going to talk about that in the next few videos in the course. Don't worry about that right now, just keep in mind that this offer needs to be related, simply go ahead and put a URL in there. For the sake of this video, I'm just going to put in google.com.

Just as an example. Obviously, you want to put a real offer in there like the ones from Clickbank or something like that now already subscribed page. This is for those people who already subscribed, but they're coming back to your squeeze page for some reason and entering their name and email. Again, this is going to happen maybe two or 3% of cases, but it doesn't really matter. I'm just going to copy and paste the offer here as well. And that's it.

Now that we're done with this, we Don't need to change anything here from the advanced settings, we can hide those, just save your form. And then we want to go to Step three. Here we are. In Step three, we have a few options when it comes to installing your form, we're not going to get into this right now, if you just want to copy and paste the exact same form that we designed on AWeber, then you'll want to simply select all this, copy it and paste it on your page. But as I said, we're not going to get into all of this now, I'm going to leave this page open, because later on, I'm going to come back, I'm going to show you exactly how to install your form on your website. Don't worry, this code doesn't mean you have to actually code anything, it's gonna be super easy for you to do it.
