Okay, welcome back to E publishing Pro. In this video, we're going to talk about maximizing your profits. So you may have already guessed, but the best way to really use Kindle and use Amazon's platform is to build a big list. Okay, so what you're going to do is you're going to get the buyer contact info, okay? You can put links in your book in the footer, in the resource section, in the separate chapter, where people can sign up for your newsletter or get more information or, or whatever, you can give something away for free, just the same old thing you would do for an opt in page or a squeeze page you're going to do here and then you can follow up with those buyers. Okay, so what you'd want to do is link to your sales pages, your blogs, your affiliate products, offers that complement the subject of your book offers that compliment Kindle books in general, you can send to affiliate offers.
It's it's really good A great way to continue to monetize after people have bought your book, you may or may not make a million dollars on your Kindle book. Okay? There's been people that have been very successful. Some people have been very successful at selling their book, and then making a lot of money on the back end with their buyers and readers. Once you have that contact information, then you can start sending follow up emails, okay? This is a great way to build a relationship with your readers, you can provide your readers with additional value with more information you can promote to your readers on occasion, make sure with your email marketing, especially nowadays, when everybody's doing email marketing, that you're not just constantly promoting every day to your readers.
That's a great way to get complaints, to get people to opt out of your list to quit your list and you don't want to do that. You want to nurture your list. You want to make sure you're sending them valuable content. Feel free to send them to other information. Just send them great stuff. And you know, every now and then you can send them an offer or something.
But remember the key here is to build a big audience that likes you and is loyal to you. So when you do recommend something that they purchase that they'll listen to you, okay, you don't want to just come out the gate, promoting all the time. So this is kind of the sequence will make sure you write some great content, and then capture that information deliver a lot of value. Now you've got a big email list that you can follow up with. And Kindle is fantastic for allowing platform for you to do that with. So in the next video, we're going to talk about a pretty cool profit technique that you can use with Kindle.
So go ahead and start figuring out how to get your content ready and uploaded. If you already have content and just submit it to Amazon, decide your price and something I didn't mention in the last video when you're uploading your book to Amazon, and they're gonna ask you if you want 35 or 70% royalties, now you can choose 70%. But they may end up charging the audience less for the book. Okay, they may, may charge less and base it more on competitive pricing. So, it's really up to you, you may have to mess around with that for a little while to figure out how to monetize it the best.
