In this final lesson, we'll give you a taste of just how difficult some of these scales and arpeggios can actually become. Make no mistake these exercises will test your limits as a vocalist pushing you to sing your lowest note to your highest note while hitting wide and difficult intervals in the span of seconds. Only attempt this exercise after vigorous practicing and once you have control, flexibility, and stamina in your voice. If you are an advanced vocalist by all means practice your legato, lip rolls, and tongue trills over this exercise. This exercise is only at the tempo of 80bpm for this course. It'll take you through all 3 of our vocal registers in each musical phrase and will be practiced at this slow tempo to grasp the intervals and difficulty of the exercise. Note – It is crucial not to push or strain our voice while practicing our other vocal techniques. Remember to take a deep breath in between each musical phrase and control your breathing going into your head voice for the high notes and remember not to shout or push your voice. Also, remember to constantly drop the jaw for both low and high notes. We sing The major scale with lip rolls from the first note up to the last note sequentially through fourteen intervals finally hitting the second octave of the initial starting note at the top with no variation in the exercise. We then in the same breath sing the exercise back down again finishing on the initial starting note.
