Hi and welcome. I want to share with you one of the most effective strategies that will give your Instagram massive boost in terms of followers in engagement. It is perfect for new Instagram accounts, which don't have a following and they're struggling to get their first 1000 followers organically. You might find this strategy a bit aggressive, but it doesn't have to be because you choose in what way to implement it. The strategy revolves around the Rule of Reciprocity. This is a psychological phenomena, and it is considered as one of the weapons of influence by Robert Cialdini.

The basic idea here is that if you want something you need to go first. And this is extremely popular in the digital marketing world. You've seen all sorts of companies and entrepreneurs giving away free books Reports, podcasts, blog posts, all that great information for free. But they do that because they know that reciprocity will kick in. And a time comes when users have to return the favor. In our case, the result we want is to get more followers on our Instagram account.

For that reason, we should follow first. And this is where you will have to decide, do you want to use this incredibly powerful strategy in a spammy way? going out there and following a bunch of people who are not interested in what your topic your theme of your Instagram account is or focusing on targeting potential force in later down the line customers for your business. Instagram allows you to follow roughly 100 people per hour. If you go overboard they will restrict your account and you won't be able to follow us for a particular amount of time, for that reason, I recommend you follow around 50 people per hour. But again, don't just follow anybody, you need to do a research First, find top five accounts similar to yours and take a look at their force.

Now my experience shows that 20 to 30% of the people you follow will follow you back. And here is an example with my account. I added 54,000 followers to my account. Now I can use this large following for promoting my courses, collecting email addresses, and ultimately selling digital products. I know this strategy can easily turn into a spammy activity, but that's up to you.

If you haven't reached your first 1000 followers, that's a great way to do it. It is vitally important.
