The first mistake I see a lot of people make is that they're trying to grow their accounts, but they haven't completed their profiles. And what do we mean by that? No images? No bio. I know this sounds obvious, but how do you expect people to follow you when you don't show who you are, when you don't show your personality, what you love what you like or dislike, etc. Now, here is the solution to that problem.
Create a nice bio, and post at least 10 pieces of content. We'll talk about what to post in the next lecture. You can give your bio a bit freshness by adding some emojis, emojis add visual elements to your profile, and they shouldn't be considered as childish. Let me give you an example. Kim garst is a great social media influential and here is her bio She's using a bunch of emojis. And she's running a seven figure business, boom social.
I didn't really know, they will see difference between an emoji and emoticon. But when I did some research, it turns out there was emoticons denotes your emotional state, an emoji can have a complete meaning and thought behind the picture. Now, let me give you an example with my profile. Vladimir Reich of only teaching business developer, share your passion and get paid, monetize your existing knowledge, teach thousands of students online. And then I have a link to my website. It's a Google link because in this way, I track the traffic coming from Instagram.
That's another cool tip. If you want you can do that as well. Even if you have a bio, consider to add some freshness to it. That's not a prerequisite for success on Instagram, but it's nice. Here is a website that you can visit and copy emojis from, then you go ahead and paste them in your bio and save. If you're running Instagram for business, go ahead and have a look at your competitors profiles.
Take the top five biggest accounts and take a closer look at their bios. Don't copy and paste just get ideas. Remember, Instagram is a visual platform. That's why people love to see emojis not only in BIOS, but also in regular posts in comments. Thank you for watching.
