Welcome back to Tom engineering. It's great to be with you and wherever you might be in this wonderful world. As always, I hope everything is absolutely superb in your neck of the woods, we are now going to really start to speed up the delivery of knowledge and the tools to transform your productivity and ability to make money immediately. So let's dig right in. In the previous modules, we covered the concepts of busy time versus income time activities, and your income time hourly rate. If you didn't fully fully grasp the last module or there's something you don't, it's not quite sitting right and perfectly well with you.

Then please stop now. Go back and watch it again because much of what I'll be covering in this module will be delivered under the assumption assumption of your complete comprehension of the previous module and modules. And if you don't fully comprehend the previous module in particular, then you're gonna miss some, some real gold that's in this one. So please go back and watch it again, it's only 15 or 20 minutes, and clarify what you need to if that is the case. Much of what you're gonna hear from this point on, however, in the program may not be so palatable or politically correct. You, you're here because you want results and you want to get what you want.

And my desired outcome is for you to hear what you need to hear. So you can make the changes you need to make. So you can as I said, in the beginning of time engineering, make the most amount of money using the smallest amount of energy, effort and time so you can maximize productivity, profitability, and your prosperity. So you can live an incredible life. It really is that simple. So, if you're the type that gets upset with directness, excuse me, or someone who doesn't subscribe to the the arbitrarily acceptable levels of political correctness, then you may want to switch off now.

But if you're interested in just getting to the nuts and bolts, you know, and getting to the quickest way possible so that you can get the results that you want, then strapping and let's go. Okay, so now you understand the true value of your income time hourly rate. And you understand the difference between busy time and income time activities, and what you should and should not be engaged in. So the first literal step is this. You must delete unproductive tasks. You must master the art of leveraging everything off your desk or and let me be very direct with you for a moment.

You're going to struggle to really Michael, I put a quote at the beginning of this program that was said by a gentleman named Benjamin Franklin. And if you don't know who he is, then Google him. He was an absolute genius and incredibly intelligent individual. What he said was this. If you love life, then do not squander time. For that is what life is made up of.

I'm amazed at how many business owners on me who unconsciously spend their lives engaged in menial activities that serve little, if anything at all, let alone serving them having an incredible, abundant, prosperous and liberated life. You must delete unproductive tasks, you must master the art of leveraging all the crap off your desk, and I assure you, it is an art. Okay, so how do we do that? Well, first we have to get a list of all the crap that we're doing. There is consuming our time, right? We need awareness.

So you need to start listing all the crap you do. Some of this will become clear when you complete the busy time income time worksheet from the previous module. But I've also created a spreadsheet for you as a download that is called delete unproductive tasks. Now it should be underneath this video, and you can download it and start writing on it for the next month or so maybe two months just keep it close by every time you do something no matter what the activity is, no matter what the activity is, it should be listed and then on this on our on this sheet and then you can look at the list every morning and start to ask the following three questions first. Am I the right person to do this job? Now?

99% Of the time, if you are honest with yourself, the answer will be no. And unless it is an activity that directly involves you in sales, marketing, product development or innovation, the answer should be no. The second question is this. If it's not me, then who is it? And once you've worked that out, then just ask yourself the last question. What What does that person require from me so that I never have to deal with this issue?

Again, your new model motto in life has to change to this. And I want to write this whole one up. That's a new model. Do I really need to do this? And then what you want to do is ask that person who you've passed this work on to to create a precise system manual of exactly how it is done. I had a PA who worked for me over a decade ago, she was really for a very long time, and she was the most incredible administrative person I've ever met.

Whenever I gave her a task, I would say please document everything and turn it, turn it into a, basically a brain dead system manual that a three year old could run. And I literally literally still have her manuals in my companies today, because they have brilliant, and no matter who I plug into into that position, I can give them the manual and they are away. This is McDonald's 101 model. And you want these manuals in place so that if someone gets hit by a bus, you don't have to step in and do everything, you can plug that hole quickly and easily. Now, the worksheet is just to get you started. I suggest you keep it at hand for at least a month or so.

So you can form the habit, you can start to see the things you're doing. But once you form the habit of assessing activities in your day, this way, you can throw the trade away, you won't need it anymore. And these activities don't just apply to work some very simple Examples to consider. Do you? Do you still mow your lawns? Do you do your own banking?

Do you go shopping for groceries. And I know that these really simple examples. However, I don't even collect my own mail. My daughter, my eight year old daughter checks the mailbox once a week on Fridays, she throws out all the crap, then all the junk mail, which is 95% of what's in there in the first place. And then she gives me anything that's important, already opened, ready for me to open to look at it. Now, you might think that that's insignificant, but if it takes me five minutes to empty my mailbox once a week, and most people do it every day, but just once a week for five minutes is over four hours a year.

And how many times do you get your mail and there's something some piece of advertising or something in there that is offering some special that might catch your eye and then you spend 1015 or 20 minutes looking at crap that has no impact on your life. in any way, shape or form, other than consuming your most valuable asset, your time. If you add up all these activities, these slow moving variables, all these little jobs that seem insignificant, you'll find that they are, they truly are superfluous. They are an essential and more accurately, they are hidden barriers to your ultimate success is incredible how much time can be found and reallocated to a more productive or a more enjoyable exercise. When you start to look at it from the perspective this perspective, I should say, Oh, do I really need to do this? Okay, so I'm now going to be covering some seriously and politically correct content.

So let's have some fun with this. Let's enjoy it. In addition to the activity deletion exercise above, there are a number of other activities that I delete My daily life or many very, very specifically. So I use my what I call my NIMS time expand the model My name is Tom expand a model now I cover this in detail in my best selling book think unlock the secret to the super business, but I'm going to cover it again here because I think I because these linked directly to the essence of this module of deleting unproductive tasks. So the news stands for sorry, the enemy NIMS I should say stands for news. So N stands for The news.

Okay. I don't watch the news. I don't read newspapers. And when people find this out about me, they will. They will usually ask something like, Well, how do you keep up with current affairs in the world? And the simple answer is I don't.

Through direct access portals. I keep abreast of exchange rates, monetary policies and foreign affairs that potentially affect my companies. But but that's it. I create my own economy. And I'm not concerned with the heavily skewed viewpoint. The global media and finance organizations want you to believe I'm not interested in current affairs because they are rarely if ever, of interest or attributable to my happiness, or success in life or business.

Just ask yourself, when was the last time you Watch anything on the news, or read anything in the papers that was truly conducive to you becoming more successful, leading a more positive life or expanding the limited view of the world that the media wants you to have. The general running order of the news channels of any news channel will go something like this. It starts with daily military action. So war murder, death suppression, followed by a parent terrorist threat threats, murders, rapes, massacres, economy, burdens, economic burden, I should say, and idiotic politicians and celebrities and sporting figures behaving incredibly badly generally followed by the sport, the weather, and then the program will finish with the hook. Now, the hook is a very important part of the plot of the news. The hook will be some feel good story about a puppy beings Or a darkness ducklings being helped across the road by a police officer.

It is simply designed to make you feel good at the end. So you come back tomorrow morning or tomorrow evening for your next fill up of crap. Please ask yourself does filling your head with depressive images of walls war, massacres, terrorists, terrorist threats, rapes, fires, financial collapse, and economic burden? Does any of that serve you as a human being? How about have a stories about stories of idiotic football players and bimbos and politicians behaving like fools for want of a better word? Help your How is that conducive to you striving for success?

Yet? 99% of people sit down for the daily fill up a negative negativity, poison and propaganda without ever considering how that is affecting their mental well being For the majority it is actually just a habit that has crept in over time. They were programmed into it indoctrinated because that's what their parents did. And they learn by watching, and the vast majority don't question this indoctrination to their own detriment. The news can be summed up in a sentence, simple sentence spoken by comedian Robert Orban. And he said this, the evening the evening news is a place where they begin with Good evening, and then proceeded tell you why it isn't.

Now we can laugh at that, but never was a true words spoken in jest. So please just ask yourself, do you don't have to believe me is watching the news serving or sinking you then act accordingly? I haven't watched the news for almost 18 years, and my life hasn't been impacted in any negative way whatsoever. Actually, completely the country. But don't take my word for it. Test it.

Stop watching the news for a month and see how it changes you. I promise you will never look back. Okay, so I'm going to break this module into two parts so it isn't too long. In part two, we're going to cover the remainder of my NIMS time expander model and the technology addictions that are absolutely strangling you, dramatically impacting your productivity, profitability and prosperity and how to manage or remove these instantly. So until we meet again, in part two of this module, please be superb. think clearly and have an absolutely incredible day.
