Hello guys, welcome to the fourth session of create custom Alexa skill using AWS lambda function tutorials for beginners. In this session we will create our first Alexa skill for this may require encountering Amazon developer portal. The link is available in resources. If you are new, then you can sign up for it. I have already signed up so I am signing with my existing account. After signing we need to select Alexa who are most on your Alexa console.

From here we need to select skills. I missed Amazon recently introduced this new user interface for scale. We will use it throughout the series. There may be possibility that Amazon may change user interface in future but its core concept will remain saying no here is a dashboard of skill t it displays a list of skills if you have created it. It can Things I can name, language type, modified date and status for that scheme. We can also delete it, or edit it, or even measure it if we are published.

To create new scale, we need to click on Create scale button. Write a name for our skills. I'm using my first skill for scaling. You can choose appropriately. We can change scale to various languages and continuing with English us. We can also add an existing model in a reskin.

Click on Create a new button to create a new scale. In this page right name for scale and select language. From this page we need to select the predefined model that we are going to use.

I have selected custom. After creating skill, we have seen invocation is a phrase that user will use to invoke a risk in writing the name and click on Save the model will continue to indent in next session.
