Hello guys, welcome to the 14th session of create customer Alexa scale using AWS lambda function tutorials for beginners. In the previous session we have updated our lambda function and interaction model. In this session we will deploy our changes to Alexa skated and AWS that is open Visual Studio code. In between I have created new skill with name second demo and move all data to this skill as you have already one skill with false demo invocation name so it makes a little bit confusing. Now I'm opening console by pressing Ctrl T. If you're not using VS code, then open console and terminal. Right asked to deploy to publish your skill.

And here our skill deployment is finished. After some time lambda function will also be Here we got the message that use ask simulate command for testing of a scale as deployable deploy lambda model and scale. If you just want to update any specific then you can use iPhone t option to target specific. In most probably situation we just need to update lambda function only for that right? Ask deploy iPhone t lambda is the only lamda deployed, which save lots of time. Here our scale was deployed to let's test it by writing a simulate.

For this we need to pass skill ID and let us copy this from here. Use option as to specify skill ID. Then use option D for right a term that you want to use. Here I am going to use invocation name that is second demo to start over scale and specify a local using option and here I have used English us, let us send it here simulation was created. And after some time, it will dump some JSON data. Here is invocation response that generated by our lambda function.

The response contains text that we have passed in from ssms. That is open Alex SQL console. Here is a scale that we have deployed. Let us open it. However, we have used CNI to create this key but we can use this goi in modified open test that we can also test in from here. I suggest you to test it in Ico device if you have, because I have raised several issues while testing it in CLA and web simulator does not support some features till now, such as the right tools and audio player, but it will work pretty on your device that is open AWS console to check lambda function we have created.

Here in configured you can see that it was already configured to Alexa skill kit automatically. So, let us see what we have learned in this session. To deploy scale and lambda use ask deploy command. After deployment, we can still access it from Alexa skill kit and AWS console. To test use, ask simulate command in Which we need to pass scale ID test and local. I suggest you to use web version for testing over simulator because it is simple to read as well as it is easy to send your request.
