These orderly and focused individuals rely on their ability to think things out. They excel in finding logical solutions and making sense of situations. People with the high compliance behavioral style, listen and plan to ensure accuracy and quality. Their compliance. They're careful, they're systematic, they're precise, they're accurate. They're perfectionist, and they're logical.

People with the high compliance, behavioral style have discomfort with ambiguity. They need to know where they stand. They like lots of facts and lots of data and lots of information. They like to know what the process is. They like to know what it is that's expected of them. They may be perceived as being resistant to any vague or general information.

They like the fact And they like the data because they have a desire to double check to make sure that they understand things and that they're doing things as accurately and as well as they possibly can. And they like that in other people. They can work very much on their own for long periods of time. They have little need for affiliation with other people. Can you think of anyone with a high compliance behavioral style, you may be thinking of someone who has a need for lots of information, lots of data, lots of facts, and likes to work very much to a process. If this is not what they get, they may come across as being quite critical.

Working with a group of people, they bring a level of comprehension around the processes. They're focused on the rules that you're working towards the policies that need to be put in place, and a real focus on standard operating procedures and the quality of the output that everybody's working towards. So when you're working with someone with a high compliance behavioral style, aim to be well prepared. Get straight down to what it is that you're there to talk to them about. But listen, listen very carefully. Be very specific with them.

Be logical in the way in which you put your points across. Be persistent and be thorough in questioning. Be formal, and to be unemotional when challenging. give them time to give their points of view. You're going to have difficulty with the high compliance behavioral style if you're disorganized or too casual. Most certainly if you're late for defined appointments, you're going to have difficulty if you provide them with personal incentives, or if you push them or coax them into making a decision before they've weighed up all the facts and all the information and all the data You're going to have difficulty if you use testimonials or opinions or if you're flippant, gimmicky or too jokey with them.
