One hour a day is all you need to get started selling on eBay. Really. If you're a busy person like I am, even one hour a day is doable. I'm going to show you how. As you start to learn the ropes of eBay, you're going to start slowly. But as you get more and more practiced, things will speed up, I promise.
Here are three ways to break down your hour. Number one, bundle activities together. That means you're going to do all your shipping at the same time, all your research at the same time, all your photography at the same time, or all your social media at the same time, and you're going to use a timer to set 15 minute intervals. Your Hour will was by and you won't get bored doing the same thing over and over again. Number two is using days of the week for similar activities. That is Monday.
Wednesdays I use for photo taking Tuesdays and Thursdays I'd like to list every other day of the week I ship when there's been a sale and people have paid me. You can coordinate this with your current calendar because you have certain activities that you do on certain days of the week as well. Using a calendar can be very helpful when you're using the one hour a day method for selling on eBay. Number three. Another way to fill your one hour a day is to complete as many listings from start to finish in that one hour. I like to try for five in an hour or 10 in an hour.
And if you're really speedy, I've heard of people doing more. You're going to take one item for sale and go from beginning to end. That means write the title, write the description, take the photos, fill in the whole eBay form, and then hit post. Go to item number two and continue from start to finish. You can get a number of listings done If you have a similar type item, say you're selling a CD, put a stack together and go from start to finish all the way through the stack. Can you get five done 10 done, whatever it may be, when your hour is done, stop.
Get on with the rest of your day. This method is really good for the competitive person. I like to set my timer and see how many Can I do today. One thing that you don't want to get bogged down in is changing categories. So I wouldn't go from a CD to a piece of clothing to a piece of jewelry. I would try to stick with similar items if you're using this method of how many can you get done in one hour.
Those are just three ways of using the one hour day method of selling on eBay. How many more can you think of
