My students ask me all the time, what do you sell on eBay? Well, here's a snapshot from April 2017 of 25 items I recently sold. First up, we have an antique catalog. This is from an aquarium store in St. Louis, Missouri, from 1941. It had wonderful colorful photographs of everything that you would need to build the best aquarium including the fish. Then I sold an antique book from 1923, all about camping.
I sold some dinner where a nine inch bowl made by Fiesta were with Bugs Bunny on it. And you can see in the center was cooking back. I sold an autographed photo of actor Beau Bridges. A first edition of prayer for Owen meany signed by the author john Irving. A silver coin from France. Thanks came to me from a flight attendant friend who I sold for on consignment.
A princess diana book. I love selling baseball stuff. Here's an LA Dodger lanyard that you wear around the neck and it went back to Southern California. I'm selling from San Francisco. A gray Nike sweatshirt. A very unusual piece.
This was a 3d dragon head on a chain wearing as a necklace and it was vintage and very colorful, very unusual sells on eBay. I sold the Christmas decoration in April. Here's a Datsun dressed as a Santa. It lights up and it's inflatable and it goes on the roof in December. Really fun. I think I bought it for about $4 on clearance and sold it for $40 here's a wonderful Mickey tie.
Disney sells well too. Next I sold the theater playbill from a production in San Francisco. Here's a common household item, an insulated lunchbox and thermos brand new DVD from England. This is a not necessarily a common one an Agatha Christie DVD. I sold some cowboy boots made by Justin Justin is a very good brand. Some more sports memorabilia.
This is an LA Lakers briefcase given to a season ticket holder from 2003. It was unused still in the wrapper, and also sold back down to someone in Los Angeles. Some tennis strings and Adidas basketball. Some Coca Cola merchandise in the original box from the late 50s, early 60s, a seven and a half inch metal thermometer Gold toned, very unique. I sold an open bottle of perfume, only slightly used for a good price $160 some stamps. These happen to have Barbra Streisand on them from her MGM Grand concert 1993.
Some tennis balls, no longer good on the tennis court but perfect for pets. dogs love chasing balls and 100 can go a long way because they tend to lose them. Here's a self silk scarf. I call it souvenir from Paris and in the center you see an Eiffel Tower and some other sites from around the city. And lastly, there is a trinket box shaped like a parrot. The head goes back and you can put little things inside very unique.
