What fuels your vehicle? Think of your body is the vehicle, your brain and heart are the motor and your soul is the driver. Think of your perspective on life as the fuel. what fuels your vehicle? There are three main perspectives life can be viewed based on feelings, hope and facts. Number one is feelings.
People who commit to living life this way are emotionally unbalanced. They have mood swings and respond emotionally to others and their own circumstances in life. They're often inconsistent because at times they become completely overwhelmed by their feelings. Because of the inconsistent way they live their lives, other people will find it difficult to trust them. Number two is hope. You're either putting yourself out there taking risks with hope or you're not.
People who base life on hope and only hope will usually go between extreme highs and extreme lows, the step out and take risks in hope, but then get disappointed when things don't go the way that they'd hoped for. Number three is facts. Living a life based on the facts of what's true. It's a common misconception to believe that whatever we think is true, that this isn't the case. Learning to live our lives based on facts becomes a strong foundation for us. As we become more grounded in the facts of who we are, we balance out, we'll still have emotional ups and downs, but we're no longer emotionally LED, our security is grounded in who we are, which means that for others we become more mature, consistent, decisive and strong.
So what fuels your vehicle? How can you live your life based more on facts and feelings and hope? All these things are good and important, but too much of any one thing usually leads to negative experiences. Balance is key.
