You can also add a voiceover and a master, you just want to wind the playhead up about where a little bit before you want to start talking, you hit this voice microphone button. And then you can see that I've got levels here. So I'll just hit start and start talking. It was such a great day hiking with Jill at Staunton State Park. Okay, you can review that. Obviously, my music is kind of drowning it out, you can re record if you want to, but I'm going to keep that.
So as you can see, you have a new layer. Now without VoiceOver on it, you can move it around with your finger like you do any clip. And one thing if you click on it, you've got some options up here, of course, but you'll see in your volume, you don't have an option to make that music background when you do the voiceover, which is unfortunate, but there is a way that we can do it. It just takes a little more work. So I'm going to click off of that click on my music, and then you'll see you have this option for volume envelope. Click on that and you'll see that you got a line through your music.
So what we're going to do is set a keyframe here, just going to come a little bit before you want the music to fade down in volume, hit this plus button here, and you have a little circle there. Now I'm going to come a little bit further down to about where I want my music to be lower, I'm going to add another keyframe. So you've got two little circles here. While my playhead is sitting on this second keyframe, I'm going to lower my volume. Now you can see the volume is actually gonna get lower. Let's listen to that.
What a great day we had, it's just nice. So if I want to, you know, lower the volume more or raise it again, I would just get to that point. Lower it more. So that's recording voiceover and using your volume envelope
