Drum fills are used as transition passages in music and are an absolute must for every drummer's repertoire. This class is divided into two different sections with section #1 teaching basic 8th note fills and section #2 teaching beginning 16th note fills. In both sections, students will learn how to move around the drum set, how to count rhythmic notation, develop independent coordination, and how to practice for best results. All of the Rock and Roll fills in this class sound great and are easy to learn. All of the lessons are progressive, so it is important to study them in the order they are listed. It is recommended to learn the rock beats in the Beginning Rock and Roll Class before adding this beginning 8th and 16th note fills. These fills played in combination with the Beginning Rock beats will create cool sounding results.
The only requirement for this class is the desire to have fun with drumming and a pair of sticks.
