And when I'm playing 16th notes, I'm going to play on every syllable that I say I'm going to use alternating strokes. It's going to go like this, what E and two E and three E and four.

It's gonna go like this, what the and, and the and playing this excellent sounding pattern. I'm playing a pair of eighth notes, followed by four sixteenths, a pair of eighth notes followed by four sixteenths. It's going to go like this, what D and E and E and bass drum is going to go on the quarter notes or every number that I say like this. What?
Two and a three. Playing this pattern I like to separate the 16th from the eighth notes. So I'll start out playing the eighth notes on the snare drum moved to the tom toms for the 16th notes. When you're working on this, you can move just absolutely anywhere around the set and it's a good idea to explore and see what you can come up with. I'm going to pick up the tempo a little bit and start moving around the drums running attitude great Way to practice this excellent sounding 16th note will be to play two measures rock beat, two measures rock. Another fantastic sounding 16th note fill that you can add to your drumming library at ultimate drumming calm JOHN McCall.
