One more time then. Okay. So how much is the for the research? How long is the growing period for this pool goby or December from December until now? Okay. So we're looking at two to three months growing period.
And again, we're looking here as you can see, we're looking at cauliflower or what they call blue goby around here one of the benefits and of course, you see how far away they are planted. When you get down there, it's gonna be like the stretch of my, my thumb to my pinky, in between the stems of the plant there just to give you information on how to plant that I do. Sorry. mystic variety snow mystic variety of cauliflower. All right. So you see the the planting sort of density going on here.
And then right through here we've got a walkway that so we make sure he's not blocked. All right. So these research plots it looks almost to my eye like we're doing the closed cells here because we've got raised berms in this case here and coming behind the plants just there and we have a raised berm here. So it looks like the water is being held in and the water is not flowing beyond the field to waste any of our water or topsoil or nutrients which is great. It's It's nice to see that there is some agreement between what I'm wearing Wanting to share what I'm wanting to teach and what is being done out in the world just just traipsing through the Cali flower patch here now. What is it that you do?
I'm just curious. Okay, I know you're you're you're bringing these to see because these these are already past harvest point but so you're going to see these and then what is it that you do with the with the green leftover, all of this husk these these big, big leaves, what do you do with them after you decompose in the manner? Okay. Okay. Anything. So you're going to go ahead and create a compost compost to make compost.
Okay. All right. That makes good sense. Yeah, if you don't turn these under directly into green manure right into yours By all means take these and compost them Do not waste these don't let them just die in the field. You've got to do something with these, these precious commodities which are the green growth that we have. We've labored so hard to get to stay healthy and to grow.
So, so big and tall and strong.
