Okay, you didn't wanna, you don't want to see the farm, you don't care, you don't care. So down at the base, we have pineapple. We have aloe vera if you can make that out, and then I'm going to go over towards the vege cells now, I didn't get a chance to really fully plant this with a full schedule. But hopefully you can see the the structure of the cells. It's so far the technique is not doing well here. It's not the right season to plant obviously I'm trying to rush things So things have not done so well except we have exceptions to the rule.
These are summer squash, local summer squash. And there are long been right there being planted. I planted Smaller a three year coconut right here something ornamental and have cleared out all of this jungle that you see right at this point to create this little farm farm scape. And so another, another coconut right there. And yes we have such diversity and this is the key diversity is the key, particularly when you are in a place that by which you you can do these things you can have diversity here, we planted another pineapple, which is doing just fantastic even though it had no roots when I planted it. Pineapple need almost no roots to grow.
If you give them good conditions which we we've got plenty of animal manure that we're putting on all of these these personal plantings the One off plantings in the in the bottom there you hopefully are in the center you can see aloe they've planted and they're doing well. And more papaya Of course this is from Thailand beautiful growth itself it's broken up a couple few times because it's so wobbly and the winds can get strong here. Yeah, you know, everybody else knows what the name of this is but me right now I'm just having a mind blank. So sorry about that, folks. This is very milkweed sorry milkweed and I get away from the mango here. So yeah, this about concludes tour now, if there's anything for you to learn in here is is maybe the biodiversity but also the general guideline for taking damage trees is there when When if they're going to survive, they're going to start sending up shoots along their basis.
And what you want to do is to cut off all those suckers and all the things which are popping off of the of the trunks and clean the trunks off in favor of letting the branches re flower ree ree leaf that where you want them to grow. In other words, you want to prepare it for fruiting. And this is a good example here. So I have denuded The, the stem of this, some of it's coming back but most of it is playing nice and staying staying bear to bring the nutrients up and hopefully with this one, and with all of them, bring bring on. Let me just because I'm being greedy. Let me go over here.
We've got a long, long bush which smells absolutely glorious. We have another zoom in here on this Wednesday. We have another mulberry here. Beautiful, not quite ready to eat, but you can eat them right now and they are very tart, full of vitamin C gorgeous little little Noni there with the big shiny leaves. Noni is forever fruiting, forever flowering. And here we've got some exotic hibiscus beautiful, absolutely stellar, beautiful, flowering the whole time, not letting us down, letting us know that everything is okay.
And a mango which has been grafted with mango shoots from two or three other countries. So this thing is really getting grand and glorious on the comeback trail. Another man go across the driveway there. And you see a regular house setup. By the way, he said he bought this house in 2006 I believe he paid only $20,000 for this. And those days are long.
Unfortunately but I'm glad that people like john McGuire, have it. And here we have as our final show, we have pomegranate. And look at the beautiful flowers that are all over this baby and it was not doing well. After I cleaned it up a bit it started to respond so well and it is going to be full of fruit. And I will I will leave you with that as a as the final shot. So this is it.
