Congratulations, guys, this is the final video In this course you have finally made it to the end. And you should be really excited about having learned all of this information and the methods and the process for you to go ahead and actually name your product in 60 minutes or less. I want to do a quick recap before I leave you off. So first thing we've talked about is how to actually come up with a lot of names, right. So the process of brainstorming and how you should actually quickly and efficiently get the names out of your head and onto paper. And then use those names, combine them, couple them and use a method to actually structure them.
So you could have good names a good list of names in a very short amount of time and we Remember, in the beginning, it will probably take you 20 to 30 minutes, it shouldn't really take you longer than that, because you're losing the enthusiasm. So it will take you a long time in the beginning. But then once you get better at this, it will end up taking much less than that. The second process is you should refine the names, the list of names that you found in the first step. So using the tools that we've talked about to actually translate the words, or maybe a couple of words in different ways, cut out letters that you don't need, add some letters that you might want to use. This process is very important because the naming process does not end.
Once you have that list from the brainstorming. It should continue with this refinement process. And again, it's a process that shouldn't take you a lot of time but in the beginning, it will take you longer because you're thinking of a lot of ways, a lot of things. But if you think about what you should be thinking about and what you should be not worrying about, well, I've done a video on the do's and the don'ts right in the beginning. If you focus only on the things that actually matter for your name, then you should have a quick and efficient way to actually refine that list of names. The last step so it's just a three step process.
The last step is actually how to secure the name. We're not just talking about a domain name, you should also be thinking about social media. So Twitter and Facebook and whatever social media channel channel is right for you and your product and your business. If your business is not really visual that you probably shouldn't be on Pinterest, that's just that's just my opinion. So securing. The name is is the last part of this process.
And I just want to thank you for taking this course. It's been a hell of a ride for me. It's been exciting. It's been a lot of fun creating this course and actually showing you the case studies and stories behind famous brand names. What you should be doing further is there is a discussion step and you can ask questions, you can talk about specific items that might, you might have missed or you might have not understand completely, and also available at AWS historian@gmail.com. On to finally congratulate you for coming this far.
And I wish you all the best naming your product
