Hey guys, Max Jacobson, and welcome to this video where I'm gonna be going through the Smith file worksheet, which is part of the bullseye lesson. So let's go through it. So the purpose of this worksheet is to understand your target audience, understand their demographics, so that your marketing is more effective so that you know who it is that you're trying to help. So it's pretty simple, just fill out the sections below. So I'm going to give I'm going to give you an example of, of my business and and what I do, but keep in mind that I want you to be much more detailed than what I'm going to do. I'm just going to give you the basic gist of it, just so you understand how to fill out the worksheet.
So let's go through it. So six, male age 25 to 35. And so it's really important that you, you pick an age gap that is sort of 10 years or less, and the location, May, Australia wide at the moment. relationship status so for me Doesn't really matter. So either on a single or in a relationship, job title. So this is important.
I mean, you could just say any job title for me, I guess. But is this the more data you add? The better so for me business owners working at any corporate job. And I could get more specific I could go, I could say I could say engineers, I could say, lawyers. I could say, well, as good as I could say, architects, you get the point, that the more detailed you are here, the easier it'll be for you to actually run a marketing campaign. So you could run a marketing campaign.
That's, you know, that goes just to business owners, you could run a marketing campaign that goes to people in jobs like engineering, law, architecture. So keep that in mind. Hobbies is the is the One So, for me, reading, watching and talking about entrepreneurship and personal development interests. This is this is really big for marketing campaigns because interests are definitely the most important things you can use in when, when choosing a target audience for your marketing campaigns. For example, if you're running a marketing campaign on Facebook, you're running a paid ad on Facebook interests, one of most important things to actually determine before you run a marketing campaign, so for me, I could be entrepreneurship, health and fitness. thought leaders like Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuk Farris, you get the point.
Additional Info for anything extra that you think should go in here regarding the demographics of your audience, you could you could put and why they thinking get get as deep as possible. So how does your How does your target audience think? So for me, aspiring entrepreneurs I always think back to what it was like before I started my business. What was like, ages and ages ago when I first started thinking about entrepreneurship. I was I had so many business ideas. I had no idea which one to choose.
First, I'd say. So, lots of lots of business ideas. But no idea what which one to choose. That's a good one. Say hi, that's pretty straightforward. So I just fill out the sections there is detailed as possible.
