Okay, welcome back to blogging masterclass. In this video, we're going to actually talk about the content that you're going to be writing in your post to start engaging your reader and getting them to do what you want them to do, which is essentially click on your links and buy your content and buy your product. So the first step to getting traffic is to having good content. Okay, so this is going to be content that's relevant to your market and your niche. So this is why we did the niche research to really figure out exactly what we wanted to target. And now we're going to write content that's relevant to them, okay, we're going to write column content that's relevant to our market that's based on this niche.
We've already found the keywords that we want, okay, which means that people are looking for us, okay, we're just going to put our blog out there on the internet, and people are going to find it based on the way we set it up. We're going to do some SEO on our blog, gonna make sure that our blog site is Ready to go in the search engines, so people can find us. And the first step is to have relevant content. So your niche blog posts don't need to be as in depth as authority blogs, okay? So you don't have to worry about writing, you know, 3000 word post. And you don't even really have to write most of the content yourself.
So what do I mean? Well, basically, what you're going to do here is you're going to aggregate content. So you're going to combine several articles from multiple sources. Visitors can find out what they're looking for all in one location. Okay, now the key to this is not to copy and paste. duplicate content will actually hurt you in the search rankings.
Okay, so you don't want to just go copy and paste from different articles. But what you want to do is find other articles and then write short, original introductions to each post. Okay, so you want to summarize, paraphrase, use other people's content. You can also find articles on the same Topic using Google Alerts, okay, that's it google.com slash alerts will have a link you can click on. But once you find these articles, you can actually link to these articles and then add your own comments in your blog. Okay?
Now, this will give your readers exactly what they're looking for. And it's also going to keep your posts original. So, when you use the internet, when you post, it's completely okay to go use other people's content, provided you just don't steal it, okay? A it's not cool to steal and be Google's going to penalize you, they're not going to rank your blog, if it's just like a rip off of someone else's blog is just duplicate content. Okay? And that that prevents people from stealing other content.
It also prevents you from writing the same article 10 times and getting it ranked in the search engines, you know, 10 times so it's, there's there's a couple reasons they do it. But just remember, if you're not an expert in a certain field, then it's completely okay to go and do your own. on research and kind of aggregate content, you can send people back to these other blogs. A lot of people are worried, you know, if I send someone to another blog, I'm going to lose customers. But that's not really how it works. Because what ends up happening is you're kind of funneling people to other information, and then they're looking back to you as the source of that information.
Okay? So they're gonna look at you as the expert, even though you sent them to someone else's information. So aggregation is one of the keys to being a successful blogger. Okay, so let's talk about the actual specifics here. So your post titles, this is going to be the most important part of your post. This is where the visitors are going to decide if they're actually going to read.
Okay, so model after other people here, go check out other successful bloggers, blogs, newspapers, magazines, look at what the titles are, and headlines for you know, successful periodicals. This is going to give you a good idea of exactly what you need to do. And of course, you can always go read copywriting books as well and do some additional research if, if you're not really sure about copywriting, but your title is the most important part, okay? Because that's going to get people to want to look, look into your article and read more. And then your introduction is right after the headline, okay, so this all this also has to be engaging so the readers will stay. So the introduction, it's a good idea to write kind of a summary of exactly what the readers are going to be reading.
Okay, and you can write after the body is finished, so you can write your complete article, and then go back and write your summary, you're going to have a really good idea of exactly what what to say here now, okay, so don't worry about doing that first. It's always better to do it right after and then don't reveal too much. Okay, you want your visitors to read the rest, you're not going to give everything away in the introduction to your article. And then in your actual body, okay, this is going to be the majority of your article here. You're going to use your keywords. You're also going to use your keywords and your interaction And title, you'll be using more keywords here about 3% of your content should be keywords, okay?
You don't want to keyword stuff, you want to make sure that you're not putting too many keywords in your article to where it's not legible. That will also penalize you in the search engines, it'll, it'll hurt your rankings. And remember here is where you can aggregate your article. So link to other articles, write brief descriptions comment on other articles, it's a great way to leverage someone else's material. Here, you're also going to pre sell your visitors on a product, okay? So you're going to start talking about the benefits and the features of the product that you're going to be selling without actually selling it if that makes any sense.
Okay, so your blogs are going to serve you as sort of a soft sell platform where you can, you know, kind of sing the praises of a certain product or service, but you're not quite to the point where you're selling it yet. And then in your body is also where you're going to link to the products. This is where you're going to link to where you want people to go to buy You're also going to want to have a call to action. Okay, so this must entice the reader to click. But it's only going to if your post content was helpful, okay? And incomplete.
So what that means is we want to write an article that that does help a little bit, okay? But it doesn't solve the complete problem. Okay? the complete solution is going to be when they click on your link, okay? And remember, you want to tell the reader exactly what to do. So click here now or click this link to get the complete solution.
This is going to let people know exactly what they need to do. Don't ever assume that people know exactly what they should do, okay. You can also offer other incentives here, a free report, more information, a newsletter, etc. Okay, if you're promoting another product, sometimes they have bonuses they'll give you that you can give people when they buy through your link, okay? So always go to the affiliate pages of any product that you'd like to promote. See what they have, you know, they may have a free report you can give away they may have a free newsletter, you may have your own newsletter that you want to give people that you can set up through an autoresponder, an email autoresponder that you can send out.
And as soon as someone you know, gives you their email, you can start sending them some information. Okay, so this is a great time to set that up as well. Okay, and we'll talk about how to actually link up your blog with your autoresponder and then remember to always create some sort of scarcity. Okay, you know, let people know that this offer is ending soon, that, you know, this, this information, you're going to have to take it down at some point, it's just too good. You can't leave this up for long. You always want to create that scarcity to get people to want to go ahead and click now and not, you know, bookmark your article to come back to it later.
And, you know, you don't want people to come back to it later. You want to feel you want them to feel like this is something they need to do right now. To get this information they need because they were searching for it. They found you. You already gave them some great information. You solve a little bit of their problem.
And now they've got to click your link to, to kind of get the rest of that information they need to solve that problem. And just remember, with all that being said, to not make your whole post an advertisement, okay, we don't want to make this one big ad that's, you know, people are get to, and they automatically feel sold, and they don't want to buy, they don't even want to learn anything from us. We want this to be valuable content, valuable content is going to help you get more clicks on your links. It's going to help you get more people to read through your article. It's also going to help you in the search engines, you know, the more relevant and valuable your content is, the more it's going to show up for people on the search pages when they're searching for the keyword that you're trying to target.
Okay, if it doesn't show up on the search pages, then people aren't going to see it. And you're not going to get new readers and you're not going to get any clicks and you're not going to make any sales. So always lead with that always have valuable, relevant content to your niche and you can't go wrong.
