Okay, welcome back to blogging masterclass. In this video, we're going to talk about how to research niche products to get an even better idea of what niche you'd like to target and what you'd like to write about in your blog. So the first place you can go to do this is the Google product search. Okay, so it's at google.com slash shopping. Okay, so here you can find popular products for sale. And then once you're on the Google product, search, a couple things you're going to want to ask yourself, okay.

Number one is are people searching for these products? Okay, you can use Google to find out if people are actually looking for these products. And you can also ask yourself, Is this product available on Amazon? Okay, so is this a product that's tangible, it's just a product that people can buy in the game to get shipped to them, okay, if so, you're going to want to go on amazon.com. And if you're not already an affiliate for Amazon, you want to go ahead and do that. We'll provide a resource for you.

But you want to go to Amazon create your affiliate account, and then this is a great Way to use your blog to start selling products that are tangible on amazon.com. You can also sell information products and we'll talk about that later as well. But once you're on amazon.com You can also check the Amazon bestsellers for additional insight into products that are currently popular. Okay, so you can look for top rated items, okay? And then here you can use the buyer reviews for your blog to promote the product. Okay, and that's over@amazon.com so let me just give you an idea of what I'm talking about here.

Okay, so here we are at the Google product search, okay, google.com slash shopping. And what we can do here is we can find popular products that are for sale, okay. And there's a couple different options for you can click on their banner here. You can also just click on one of the sidebars and right now it's pretty close to Christmas. So they're starting to show lots of products like holiday toys, okay, so you can go in here you can click on holiday toys and see their favorite toy picks of the season with 360 degree views. So it's pretty cool if you wanted to go in here and maybe you wanted to target one of these niches right now.

Because we're so close you know parents are looking for toys for their kids. You can actually go in here and target by the age of the kid. You can target boys, toys, girls toys, things like that. You can also go back and you can scroll down here and see popular toys this week. Okay, so we can our popular sorry, popular products this week, which these are pretty much toys. But basically see here we got the Samsung, Samsung Galaxy tablet, Motorola, the Apple iPad two.

You can scroll through here and you can see lots of different ideas for niches that you could target. Okay, right now it looks like the popular things this week are typically electronics okay. Also got toys getting close to Christmas. Monster Beats by Dre, headphones, and then video games. So these are all different niches that you could get into completely different niches. Okay, and this is a great way to find and get ideas for something you want to target.

So once you found your product, you can actually just go into the products. Let's say we wanted to maybe target this iPad two, which disappeared on me. So how about we want to target this amazon kindle fire? Well, we would just click here, we see the price, we can read the reviews and we can actually use these reviews in our review in our blog. So we can just take this we can rip these reviews straight. We can take these and use these in our blog, okay, so it's a great way to actually show some information about the product.

And then individual products are going to have their own product reviews as well. So here's the eight gig, Amazon Kindle Fire. So you can come down here See the product specifications? Right here. You can scroll down, see other related items to this, okay. So what you can do is you can take this product, you can take this keyword, the Amazon Kindle Fire eight, and you can go in back into the Google Keyword Tool and you can type this in and see what other results it gives you.

You can also just type in Kindle Fire, you could also just type in tablet, okay, so this may be a niche you want to target maybe you don't want to target this guy specifically, but you can go target something similar to it. Okay, and it's a great way to get ideas. You can also go in here to amazon.com so let's go ahead and let's copy this whole thing right here. You can come into amazon.com and you can essentially just type this in Amazon Kindle Fire eight gig black and click Go Okay, so it's going to pull up lots of different options for us as well here. So what we can do here is we can actually check out the product and Amazon see that there's an affiliate opportunity here, because now you can promote this product and make money. Okay, so you could promote this product as an affiliate and get paid for a percentage of the sale.

So if you look here, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch, we can come here, click this. And now we've got all kinds of information to put in our blog. Okay, all kinds of information to put in our blog about this product specifically. Awesome. So that's one way to use your blog as a kind of a review site. You can review several different products together, you know, talking about which one you think's the best and do a recommendation with your affiliate ID in there.

Lots of great ways to do it. This is just one example that you would use the Google product search to find cool products. Then come over to Amazon or you just go straight to Amazon and kind of do the same thing from the from their homepage. You can search by category and find different products here as well. Just to give you kind of a good idea of what exactly you want to target. By now you should kind of have a good idea of what you want to target, what niche you want to get into.
