So let's put up a watermark to this video that I have. Now, watermarks are basically of two types. One is an image based watermark. And the second is a text based watermark. So if I have to put an image based watermark, I have to slide to the start of my video. Okay, and I have to pick up a timeline or a layer which is empty.

So as you see, this particular layer is totally empty. So I will be putting an image into this layer. Okay, so let me pick up an image in order to place it there. Let's just say I take this one, okay, I drag this image and I place it onto my layer. Now this image, since it's acting as a watermark, it has to be extremely small, it cannot be this big. Okay.

So if you also want to crop this image, you can very well do that. So you right click on this image And click on crop and zoom, it will take you to the tab where I had cropped my video here. Now click on original ratio as in the ratio, click custom. And this remove this extra part from the image. So these are the extra parts that I get rid of. Yep, and then click OK. Now this is my image which is going to act as a watermark.

So I have to have the size of this image extremely small. So if you have your logo, your company logo, your personal brand logo, you can use your logo as a watermark to your video. So I have put in the image here. Now the concept with regards to watermark is that it lasts for the entire span of the video. It does not like appear and disappear, it has to last for the entire span of the video. So like if I play this, this is going to start and it's going to come to an end after some time.

Then it's gone. So what I need to do is I need to stretch this watermark image to the entire segment of my video. So in order to do that, there is a shortcut to this, you simply zoom in. Okay, you zoom your work. And you click on your image. Wait for the two way arrow, do you see a two way arrow?

Yes. So you wait for the two way arrow and you drag it. Now you have to also keep a check on where to stop. So do you see the gray line of reference? You leave it there. So if let's say I play this video now, I click anywhere.

My watermark is then I click anywhere watermark, watermark, and watermark. So this is how you're going to put a image based watermark onto your video. So in the next section, I'm going to show you how to put in text based watermark onto your video.
