So now let's say I have already put in a audio and I have adjusted my audio over here that is I've muted it. Let's say I want to put another external audio just the audio and adjust the audio based on the video sound that I have. That is I don't mute anything, I just the sounds in such a way that both the external audio and my video audio is audible. Okay, so in order to put up audio in here, I need to first put up an audio in My Media Gallery. So I click on Import, click Import Media Files. I have a background music that I have already kept aside so I click on it, and I click Open.
Okay, so that's my audio that I have. So what I do is I come to let's see this part of the video. Let's just review what it is, before you achieve anything. Whatever the hell you came here for. Okay, there's some kind of speaking happening. So we're going to put up another sound to it.
So I directly drag and drop. You wait for the frequencies to come in. We'll just listen to this once. When you go in and output to try to deploy your business, run for mayor, raise money for a nonprofit, no matter what you do, no matter what you try to accomplish when you leave this conference, the one thing that you should be chasing is people's attention. Selling t shirts, or shirts, or whatever you do, you need to tell them your message has to be developed. So this sounds really great.
What I do is I just show you some part of it, I won't show you the entire thing. So we keep it to And we have to now adjust the volumes. So to adjust the volumes, I will have to divide this part of my audio. With this part of my order I need to split it up in short, so I select and I click split. Same goes with my video, so I select my video click split. Now if you notice the video is from here to here, but my audio is starting a video.
So again, you will have to create a split in my video as well at the start location. So I click here and I click split. Okay, so now I don't require the rest of my audio so I can simply select and delete it. Okay, now this part of the video has to be a higher volume as compared to the background music. So what I do is I simply double click on this, it takes me to a tab, you go to the audio section of this tab and you can increase the volume All don't increase it too much. And so it will be too disturbing to though yours.
So I increased the volume a little I click OK. And I need to decrease this volume. So I double click again and I decrease this volume alone very little perfect. So now if I have to hear this, this is going to be like this we're going to try to create So did you see the difference, we have reduced the volume of my audience we've increased the volume of my video and hence the audio acts like a background music to my video. So if I want if I have a particular video that just has some kind of a speech that is some kind of a speaking into it, I can simply put a background music and make the entire beautiful combination of the audio and the video. Now the audio also has one important thing that is called as the front fading in and fading out. So this is very simple.
Do you see this white thumbnail like a thumb like thing over here, you just drag it and you drag this. So this is like a fade in and fade out. Obviously if I have to view this now, it's going to start very slow. We're going to try to run from failure or never do do you need Sophie's intention to tell them that so the transition is very smooth with a fade in and fade out. If you do not put the fade in and fade out. It's like suddenly there's some sound and suddenly there is no sound.
So fade in and fade out helps you have a smooth transition in your audios. Okay, so this was about adding an external audio and also adjusting the audio. In the next part, I'll show you how you can record your own voice cases. Sounds interesting. So we're going to see it in the next section.
