Okay, this portion of our training is job search strategies, three categories, three industries, three companies. This is a very aggressive approach. It's very it's been very successful. And you will end this portion with nine strategic competence you're targeting with your employment package, which is very aggressive. So the first step in this job search strategy is to identify three job search websites that you're familiar with, that you would like to register your employment package with. A few examples are indeed calm careerbuilder.com and I recommend a local job search websites such as a county city or even a state county website that you can register your employment package and upload your information and get job leads.
If you have those three, you're in good shape. You're in good company. You receive some contacts, you should have some familiar set of leads from those three job search websites. Once you've completed that, the next step is to identify the three industries. What three industries Would you like to pursue employment in whatever suits your qualifications or your interests? A few examples here are hospitality, help, and restaurant industry, it could be anything else.
I'm just giving these as a few examples. It could be entertainment for you. It could be the education industry, what have you. But we use these as a few examples so that we can give you a lead of how you can approach yours. For example, once you have your three industries. Now More specifically, we're going to identify three companies within each industry.
For example, if you have the hospitality as a selection, we want you to identify three hotels, or living organizations, hotels or motels. In that area such as the Hilton, the Mirada it could be even the Bates Motel if they're hiring we're interested doesn't matter. You have three companies within those industries for example three hospitality three hotels. Next, have you selected the health industry? Kaiser Permanente is one, Sutter Health is another, you can find three maybe the count the local county hospital in your area, you've identified three hospitals within that health industry. If you select the restaurant industry as well as your third, then maybe we select the chain restaurants.
Applebee's is one sizzlers in the United States is another those are in there may be another you select or identify three chain restaurants that you want to pursue employment with. Now, if you do this, three times three is nine. That's very aggressive. You have nine specific companies that you are targeting every week. That's very aggressive. I like it.
I like those chances. If you have nine, you're going after nine opportunities. And I'm sure you'll get hits back from those that aggressive approach. The written exercise from this point for you, as in the training in this project is to identify your three job search websites, your three industries and three companies within each industry that is your written activity, you need to come up with the nine that you will end up with after developing your three job search websites, your three industries and your three companies within those industries, which should leave you with nine companies to target. This is the activity job search strategy.
