Now for the prompt new activity, I'll start by just writing a new activity or activity just as a header. And then we'll go in and record an activity that I started to do because of being social distancing here. And so in this case, I'm keeping a garden and so I want to record that. And what I do is I just make a very simple sketch of the crops I'm trying to grow. And that's just a tomato, a radish and a hot pepper. And because I want this layout to have a positive image and adventure some I'm gonna make the vegetables with faces, and then they look happy and vibrant, and very colorful.
After I make my pencil sketch, I go in with a permanent marker, and I go over them just to make sure I have the fine details and the outline done. When that's done, I'll erase any pencil marks. And then I'll come in with my watercolors and I want to stick to a very happy image so I use bold colors, very bright and very pigmented. I'll go around and do each of the elements, the nice red tomato, the pink and white radish and then the vibrant green jalapeno. After this is dry, I'll go in there and write some journaling and write about my whole process. Why I did it, what why it means something to me.
So I added my text, and then maybe I'll do an update on the Guardian in a few weeks and see what happens there.
