What's up guys, Zach here. Welcome to another episode of case school. In today's episode, we're going to teach you the difference between front side and back that. So grab your board and let's get started. First off, let me tell you that frontside and backpack can be very, very confusing for anybody just getting into escape. frontside and backside both have different categories and a little different meanings for each trick that you do, whether it's a grind, or a flip trick on the ground.
Let's start off with Brian tricks. The easiest way to recognize the front side and a backpack grind is whether the skater jumps on towards their toes or towards their heels on the obstacle. If you jump on the obstacle towards your toes, that's the front side Brian If you jump on the obstacle towards your heels, that's a backside grind. The easiest way to tell if a skater is rolling up frontside or backside is to look at whether their toes or their heels are pointing towards the obstacle. For flip tricks that's a little bit different. Basically, it's flipped around opposite, which is a little weird, but it makes sense once you learn them all.
So per flip tricks, backside is when you do a trick towards your toes. So your back is turning to The obstacle. Front side is when you do a trick and your chest faces the obstacle that you're going down. Alright guys, now you've learned the difference between front side and back side. Take it to your local skate park to learn them both. And most of all, have fun.
