As we mentioned in the previous video, any joint pain that you're experiencing in your body, you should always relate to the muscles both above and below that are that area of pain that's causing you problems. In this video, we're going to focus on a stretch of your hip flexor muscles. This muscles extremely important because it both pulls up on your quadricep muscles of your leg or your thigh muscles and can cause tension in your knee. But it also causes posture problems with your back. As you're standing, take one leg and put it slightly forward. You don't have to have a huge amount of space between your legs in this stretch so long as you have the right Right emphasis.
Move the weight forward onto your front knee and push your pelvis forward while you're standing up straight. You should be feeling the stress just above your quadricep muscles of your back leg. hold this stretch for 10 to 12 seconds each leg and make sure it's a position that you're balanced, comfortable. Both feet should be flat on the floor and feel the stretch in your hip flexor muscles like you can see in the video. If you don't feel the stretch enough, you can try it again. First, shake your legs out.
And here you can see the stretch again from a side you slight amount of space between your legs. Move the weight forward to your front leg and push your pelvic muscles forward as you're standing up straight. You don't want to be bent over make sure that you're standing up straight between your legs. And not moving from one side to the other and just ever so slowly push your pelvic muscles forward, feeling the stretch in your back legs.
