Hi, this is Alan freezin, I have another benefit tip for you for getting the best value of your group Benefit Program. This one is about critical illness benefit or critical conditions benefit. So what those benefits are critical illness or critical conditions benefit is where if somebody becomes afflicted with a very serious medical condition, it pays a flat amount of money to that individual. And the listing of what those conditions are varies from contract to contract and for whether it's a individual plan or a group plan, but the the value in it is that the person receives these funds, and then they can take those and do it, whatever is important for them. Maybe it's transitioning to a new reality that they face now. Maybe it's traveling somewhere else in the world in order to obtain the medical care that's going to help in their situation.
Maybe it's They're just gonna scratch something off their bucket list and take the family for a big cruise something like that. So the value in it is, is pretty good. It's a living benefit as opposed to a death benefit. Now, why I really like you to consider it as an add on to your group plan is for this reason, on an individual basis, critical conditions, benefits are very expensive, let's say $50,000 of critical illness coverage is $80 a month, something like that. Whereas on a group plan, often it's like $10 a month or $8 a month for 50,000 coverage. So it's extremely good value that way.
So I think it's something that you might want to consider. And if I can help you find additional information, please do give me a call or email. My contact information is on the screen. Thank you very much. Keep well
