We need to understand that our eyes are the connection to audience if we do not use them correctly, we're not going to connect. People don't care how much you can communicate. They want to know if you can connect. There's a section that we teach people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. And part of communicating how much you care is communicating and connecting with your audience. We learn how to do the full communication process.

And part of their process is my eyes. If I'm going to talk to you and I'm going to say, guys, you know, this is one of the most exciting things I've ever done and you can, sure you can trust me really you can. I have done this a million times and really, you don't have to worry about my intelligence, I really know what I'm doing. Do you see how that feels when you are not connecting with me. So when I have eye contact with you, especially when we're doing the one on body language and posture, I mentioned that the person that you're having eye contact with will always be connected to you. But we can't just look at one person in the audience.

So how do you look at people when you can't look at them in the eye? When you're standing this close to people? We need to remember that if I'm going to look at your ears, like I'm doing now you might go What's wrong with my is actually a cool trick. When you speak into somebody, you go, Uh huh. And then you view this and as I took it again, and then I think, so there has to be sufficient distance. So I'm going to say, from five to 10 meters away, you can actually do this to make yourself feel better so you can look people in the us just look at Yeah, so now I'm looking at you.

Yeah. And from a longer distance, you're gonna think I'm looking at you in the US and for you Your audience is going to think you're actually connecting with them and they feel that you connect and we cannot completely look away. Some people are going to say, always look at the back of the audience. What about the people in front, when we walking out on stage in front of our audience, are we sitting down in front of people? Good, our contact is something that's important. What I do to keep a rhythm is I'll go, one and two and three, one and two, and three, one and two, and three, one and two, and three, then parts one, and two and three, one and two, and three, go to back, one and two, and three, and then to the side.

So in that rhythm, it gives you a confident feeling that you've got stuff in control that now watch this is we don't stand like this with our body and move our eyes as we look around. Because if we look a little bit like so people are watching us and it's important, watch my head, wherever my head goes. That's where my eyes go, you see that? Something that's very important, as I'm going Looking at the audience, I'm turning my head with my eyes because it gives it flowing movement. And I'm using my body language and my hands. If I'm going to do that, my body language goes with it as I'm looking.

And then if we expressing with our faces, our eyes need to be important. I might look off into the distance and it was just such a long time ago, but you know what I'm talking about. It just feels forever. But it was actually a long, long, long time ago. But if you just thought about it now, maybe it actually happened today. Did it.

You see with your eyes, we can really connect with the people and we can eating out inside with it inside their heart to my heart. Remember, even though it's a big audience, you must continually go to and fro across your audience. Make every person feel comfortable. Remember this, do not neglect your people on your sides. When we stand in the audience, it's to this person to that person. If I've got people this close to me, I actually step back so that I can get them to a bit of that angle.

And then I must remember, if you don't look at it, everybody in the eyes, they are not going to feel connected and you lose them. They don't concentrate and they lose focus. If you want somebody's attention, look at them in the eyes. And then like really like I want your attention just continually looking into their eyes. And so I want you at this moment in time, I need you to listen to me very carefully. If you're not going to make eye contact.

It's not gonna work. Till next time
