What is important when you deciding on how you're going to put your speech together is it must have a structure, it must have a beginning, it must have a middle and it must have an end. The beginning would be how you're going to introduce yourself, as I was mentioning, is you're going to have that opening line. Picture, a nice opening line that you can do. One of my opening lines has been your beginning is your introduction where you going to establish yourself as an individual, you could bring in third party credibility. If you are a professor, or person that's communicating facts, use your background, your degrees, your experiences, and also Use your facts as an establishment of your credibility because in the beginning, they need to know that you are going to be worth listening to. If they don't necessarily like you, they're going to wait to hear what you have to say.

And that's important. And if it's really important facts, and figures, you can kind of get away with a few things because they want the facts and the figures, so decide what's your opener, but your opener has to be where they get credibility about you. And it gives credibility about what you are going to say. Now the thing what you do is you throw it forward or you play it forward, is you say that, today we are going to be discussing the effects the color blue has on the color red, and I want to explain to you the different transitions of how it's going to happen. And finally, I'm going to show you at the end, how the color blue actually mixed with a color read creates a third color, but I'm going to say that to the end, don't Go away. That's now telling them what's going to happen.

You give him the credibility, you can say, in my 10 years experience working at a university, or I'm going to share your stories like I do have other people's lives as to what they have encountered and how they have overcome it. And I'm going to share that with you today. And then hopefully, you're going to go home, I'm throwing it forward, totally changed and a different way of understanding how the world works. What I'm going to teach is that life does not get better, but you get better. And I'm going to show you how there is your introduction, then we go to the middle and the middle is going to be about what you're talking about. Keeping in mind that you're going to be growing towards the end, and also is you can go a little step forward.

So when we sharing with people, we'll go say five steps forward, two steps back, just to do a quick refresher as to what we've spoken. If you're gonna drift off to the left, make sure you know where you're going to come back again, if you're going to drift off to the right in other words, You're going to use third party stories, you're going to talk about an event that happened or you're going to share facts come back to your life. Keeping in mind is our beginning. And these my end, and I might go off the path. But remember to come back sometimes what I say to people is if I have a spontaneous thought, or I'm just winging it, I'll say to the guy, listen, Casey, why don't you do me a favor, just remember x, y, Zed. If I'd mentioned x, y, Zed, remind me, then you use your audience to keep you on track.

And then when you get to the end, this is your finale, that as I discussed, we've heard how blue effects rate and how the different quantities of one end the other actually can create a third color. We know what creativity is. Creativity is taking things that exist and creating something that never was. Here I'm going to show you and tada, this is the color purple. Then we close it off. Then last closing closing a joke but remember, I said don't tell a joke.

Unless it's funny and you You will find and if you're going to tell the joke, to joke or not to joke, that's where you go learn that module. And we'll teach you that. And then your closure is if you want an email, here's my phone number, you play it forward to your next event, or thank you very much for coming. Then you end off with a good note. Remember, you want to get the people to leave on a high. If you're using a motivational moment that you want them, say child trafficking, and you want to impact it.

Don't leave them in a depressed mode because their brains going to start forgetting. What you want to do is you give them all the effects when they get to press, you give them hope you draw them out of the hole, you put them on the side where they go, Okay, cool. Now I'm going to reach in, and I'm going to help those people one person at a time, when you delivering your speech, you don't want to make it so overwhelming that they feel worthless. It's got to come back to me as the audience. What does it mean about me and how can I contribute in a big way or small way with what we been discussing today and then next your data moment. So Tara
