Hi, welcome back. Let's see the five steps that are involved in developing the talent in an organization. These five steps include offering training and development programs, monitoring, follow up, regular evaluation and feedback. First, the employee should be offered trainings and development sessions. During this is learning and performing abilities should be observed and monitored. After providing the trainings, the follow up must be taken to see how much the employee has learned.
Next step is to evaluate the performance and progress of the employee on a regular basis. This could be done weekly, monthly or quarterly, depending upon on policies, the evaluation can be different depending upon the companies or industries. In most organization, performance management as a part of this particular step, you learn about it in the coming section. Finally, feedback should be given to the employee as the last employer, so that both could assess the progress of employee and see what else can be done for developing the talent in the organization. So, these are the five major steps that form part of developing employees.
