But sometimes there is no separate department for this. In short, talent acquisition team is responsible for hiring the right candidate for the job. The process of talent acquisition involves assessing sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and even onboarding the employees. The process of talent acquisition and recruiting seems quite similar, isn't it? But they are not. So how is talent management or talent acquisition different from recruiting? Even though the purpose is same, but the strategy is different talent acquisition focuses on long term human resource requirement, while recruitment to stand for meeting the short term strategy.
Talent Acquisition is done for hiring people who have certain specializations and can take up the leadership positions. It's not about filling the seats, but it's about finding talent or manpower, who are skilled and have to be retained in the company for a long time.
