The next method to reduce email coming into your inbox is to filter it. So you can use email filters to filter who it's coming from the keywords within it, even things it doesn't have. So some possible actions is you can have it go direct to archive or skip the inbox or label it or tag it or move it to a folder. You could set it to have, you know, high priority messages automatically marked if they're coming from say your your supervisor, you can have that automatically forwarded or is marked as spam. So there's a lot of different ways that you can use it. So a few of the common uses you can do here is important ones, you know that your emails are going to have to go to your now folder, have them skip your inbox go directly now folder that way you don't need to sort them.
You can also use email filter, of course to block spam. If you got some spam that's getting through use your filters to start looking for the key words within it, or ways that you can block it. You could also have your reference material, skip your inbox and go direct to your reading folder, or even directly into somewhere like OneNote. So another use you can use for your email filter, and again, you know, highlighting priority items, you know, you can make sure that they're marked. So give some thought to how you could use email filters to have it skip, have it go directly to where it needs to go, really automating a lot of the sorting processes but you can use email filters for Okay, let's look at the next lesson.
