So let's talk about the first step in the analysis of the emails in the now folder. And that is to dump and archive. Now you might think, well, Garland, you already had me sort them, if they're in the now folder, how could they now be dumped in archive? wouldn't they be important. And the reason that you still want to go through this step is you may have had some that when you quickly looked at the subject line, and who it was from, you thought it was important, but now that you look at it, it's something that's already been dealt with, or it's just not that important. So you'll want to now look at dumping in archive, and in the words of Peter Drucker, nothing is less productive than to make more efficient, what should not be done at all.
So we want to find those things that do not need to be done at all and not do them rather than worrying about making them more efficient. So for each email, see, do you really need to deal with it? If not, Not just click on the archive. So you want to go through and you want to find each email and say, does this one really have to be dealt with? If not, just click on the archive button and get it out of your inbox. So it's done.
And let's move on to the next step.
