The next technique I'd like to share with you is to stop digital filing. We've talked before about how your inbox was actually set up based upon the old filing systems with paperwork. Well, our digital filing seems to be that as well. So often, we've created folders on our hard drive the same way that we would create have had folders in a normal filing cabinet. So we might have different sections like marketing, or clients, and then we would file everything in their agency. Well, that takes a lot of time to figure out where it goes.
So instead, don't file instead, everything goes in one folder, just the archive folder. So instead of having to look for things just to search, if you're searching for the person's name, their email address, any word that might have been used in the email, it will show up and it's much faster and since I stopped Using all my huge I had a huge folder system of, of all the affiliate programs I've joined and a letter for each folder for each program and all my clients and a folder for each clients. I used to file all that and now I just hit the archive button. It works fantastic. So stop digital filing, you don't need to find these digits. They're easily retrievable by search, unlike the old paperwork, so start working with 21st century technology instead of instead of the century centuries old technology.
