Okay, see you're working in your now folder, the most important place where your high priority emails are. And you've gone through and you've looked at all the emails that you could possibly dump or archive, and they're gone. So the second way to analyze your emails to say, Do any of these emails work best if they're done by somebody else can they be sent to another team member, a subordinate, my assistant, whoever might be better set up to handle this. And I'm going to go through in a bit more detail later on some best practices around delegating email, but it's very important that you get rid of these right away, and you want to assign them in your task management system. Now talk about why you shouldn't assign by email a little later as well. So go through all your emails, find all the ones that can be delegated, and assign them up to other people.
