Hey there, welcome to Module Three. In this module we're gonna talk about your baby's nutrition needs through the first two years of life, in particular from six months to 12 months and from 12 months to 24 months. In the first year of life, baby's main nutrition need is still filled by breast milk or formula. When we start solids we call it complimentary feeding for the first two years, because it is in addition to breast milk or formula for specific nutrient gaps that needs to be filled by fruit starting from six months. And these nutrients are in particular the iron, the sink, the vitamin D, calcium, protein, and fats. So these are the nutrients that we want to focus on.
And when we're offering solids, we can focus on foods that are high in these nutrients in the next couple of videos. I'm gonna go over the nutrient needs specifically for babies six to 12 months. And then for babies 12 to 24 months
