So in this lesson I'm going to show you you know what exactly your costs are and what you can expect to be paying out every time you get an additional client, and even how you can get your clients to cover that cost as well. So fundamentally, we know there actually isn't much cost to running a lead generation business. And this is actually amazing, because for every additional client, you get your cost do not scale with that. Right? What does that mean? Let me show you what what that looks like.
So first of all, for when you have zero clients, then your costs are nothing, right? It's not like you have to open up. You there's no inventory to buy, there's no there's no I guess, store that you have to open up and pay rent for right? There's not none of that. So that's the good news. You can get started for free pretty much.
So the cost breakdown for one client. I'm going to show you the different tools that you're using. I'm not going to go too in depth into that because that's something I may I'll be going over in future videos. future lessons. But I just want to give you a quick rundown of what the costs look like. So first you have Click Funnels to Click Funnels is a tool that we're using to build a website, building our phone, building our funnel, and that's $97 per month, or $19 per month, it depends on which plan you go with, I would recommend the $97 per month just because that gives you a lot more flexibility that is that often comes in hand.
And also the $19 per month is only available in certain cases. So the name cheap is named cheap is that the tool that you use to purchase domain so right now let's say if your client is a tow truck company, then you would be purchasing a domain for like, called let's say 24, seven toes calm. And typically you can get domains for under $10. So wufu is a form generator. So essentially if you need to capture a lot of details, this generator happens, for example, for realtors, where they want to get your name, phone number email, and, you know, your home street address potentially, in case that person is looking to sell their home, or you know, a financial planner, who needs to get a lot more information about that person to really get a high quality lead, right? So wufu is dependent, right, not all clients would need wufu.
But you know, let's just say that you did for a moment, and that's $19 per month. And as APR is, APR is a tool that we would use to automate a lot of things like sending leads directly to our clients, and not having to do that manually ourselves. So all of that combined, if you're assuming that you're taking the most expensive part from each of these right 97 from Click Funnels $10 from the cheap $19 remove foo, then at most, you're spending $126 per month, right and keep in mind in the previous videos that I talked about previous lessons I mentioned that the average revenue from a client is $1,000. Right? So that means that one client already pays out for all your all your costs right? Now if you can imagine in the case where we have two clients right, then again your Click Funnels that click with Click Funnels.
If you purchase a $97 per month plan, then you can build out 20 funnels. So that means you can support 20 clients. So again, that that cost is the same, you have name cheap, now you're adding you'll have to purchase two domains, right? Let's say you're one is a tow truck company one is dental. So you have 24, seven toes calm and and also, Los Angeles. As dental smiles calm, let's say they'll be 20 bucks.
And then you'll have wufu, which is still 19 per month, right? wufu. At 90 per month, you can create multiple multiple forms. Xavier is free again. And total that's $136 per month, right? So you're only really adding To $10, from name cheap, and in this case, right, you're making $2,000 per month with these two clients.
So already, you know, you're like, software cost is not an issue, right? These costs are not something that you would even have to be worried about. Now, the good news is that you can technically get started for free, you don't even have to eat into your, your retainer fees, your monthly retainer revenue. So for example, what that looks like is, when you get started, right, you for example, you can charge a client a setup fee, which would be let's say, $150. And that would really cover everything from the first month, right? That's where you to set up their funnels set up the ads that have tracking and all of that, all of which I'm going to teach you, you can charge let's say $150 or $200.
To really get that client started and also cover your costs. The only thing I'll say about that is typically when you're just starting out this business and you might have less credibility, it may make sense to give Your clients have free trial where they only cover ad spend, and you cover all the tech side. But again, that really depends on how you negotiate with your clients. And whether or not your client really needs you a lot more than you need them. And yeah, it's really you have to kind of gauge the dynamic and see what makes the most sense. Cool.
So in the next videos I'll be talking about I'll start diving into the actual tech. I'll see you in the next lesson.
