Hello, I'm Karen class and this is the life story mapping exercise. Now, this is a powerful tool if you are writing about your life. Now your life map is simply a tool. It's a framework within which to explore the many different factors that have shaped who and where you are today. In many ways your experiences have powerfully influenced the way you feel, how you relate to others and how you interpret your everyday moments. That your life now is the process of gathering the data of your life on key moments that are really shaped you whether they're negative or positive.
Now while everyone's journey will be unique, your life map will have transformational turning points that you may have forgotten about. And this is by creating your life map is an important step. In writing your book, now, there is a there's so much power in your story. And as you write your story, you face your deepest hurts, which makes writing your story one of the most powerful ways to heal and transform your past and your life. years ago, when I wrote my first book, it was actually, me writing my journal, I started out just writing pieces of my life. And as I was writing, I would just be sobbing.
And it was so healing. And this is why I am so inspired to to empower you in writing your story. Now, remember, again, there's no right way or wrong way to tell your story. You have total freedom to be transparent and vulnerable as you feel comfortable in being at the center. Time, let yourself be challenged and step out of your comfort zone. Try and have fun preparing and telling your story.
Don't worry about having it perfect, or having to impress anyone else. Now below I have the life story map requirements, and how to create your life story map. The important thing here is to not rush through the process you will know when you feel complete. Do not make this complicated. This exercise is really designed to give you a visual of your life and the people and the places and experiences that have really shaped you. Now, as you are creating your life story map, you're going to really recognize you know, patterns.
And you know those when painful things happens. You may even begin to ignore them. within yourself that many of the situations that happened even when in your childhood, were really lies that your body and mind and emotional system believed in. And this is when we create statements such as it must have been my fault that my childhood abuser did that to me, or to make a vow that this hurt so much, I will never allow that to happen again. These lies or vows become unconscious, but powerful guides to our behavior, becoming the often unexamined beliefs about ourselves, others life, God and relationships. So this this exercise is really powerful in you getting so real and honest about the piece of your life that you know need to be heard that No need to be expressed.
Because there may be other people going through the exact same thing that you did. And they need to hear how you healed your life how you moved forward. A higher idea is once you have your life map, put together, record your voice, state out loud what your life map is showcasing. And then listen to the recording. This is your inner brilliance showing you what you're here to share with the world. Take a deep breath.
We're going deep. You've got this and I have your back. I'll see you soon.
