Now that we have understand how to manipulate objects in SketchUp so now let's discuss about how to manipulate parts of a particular object in SketchUp. So, now we have, we can see there is a table here, and now we will manipulate its parts. So, first, before this I want to tell you about, there are ages and phases in SketchUp. Like we can see this is ages and this is ages. And this is phase This is phase This is. So all ages comprises of face.
And so what we do in parts of manipulating, we manipulate ages and faces on it. So let's try with the command that we have learned by now. Like I have to manipulate This age. So, I will just put press move command and I will just move it ahead like this. So you can see how it is changing shape like chamfered shape. So, this is how we manipulate ages.
And also we have like another thing, if you want to try here also, then we will manipulate, look at how it changes its shape like this. So it's really easy to manipulate ages, manipulate edges. Also, we can manipulate faces like if I want to increase the width of the table. I'll just make it more and you can see how I'm changing the dimensions. And also along with that, you can manipulate multiple surfaces or ages or phases at a single time. If I want to add an example regarding to it, so if we select these two faces along with this, if I want to increase Without this, press M or select move command and just click left click it and just drag it.
Don't keep pressing the left click just drag it and you can see how it is changing its dimensions, thickness regarding to our cursor we are moving. So it's quite simple here and along with that, we can rotate it as well. We will select the face and we will rotate and you can see when we select the rotation Come on it the rotation. We have three types of rotation here, from one is along the red axis, one is along green axis and on the bottom is along the Zed axis. That is blue. So we have three types of rotation we will be learning about it in future.
But if I just want to rotate it, you can see how the destruction has been made here. It's quite destructive. So we will not try. But still if I want to manipulate this table from the center, so I just click on this other side and and make a distortion 10 degree you can see below there is an angle. If I want to make 10 degrees. You can see how table has been distorted and it's quite a nice shape.
Quite innovative. But yeah, so we have options to create and manipulate the edges and faces according to our need. I want you to try it by yourself. It's quite sad.
