In this lecture, let us see some advanced options of extrude. Here I'm going to take a sketching plane and draw multiple profiles. The same sketch is going to be used multiple number of times for creating different features. Now I'm going for extrude tool, and I want this complete rectangle to be extruded. So here in the options, you know that when I'm extruding it on one side, I can give the distance that is the height for this box. I have another option that is I can extrude it to the other side also.
And for these two sides, I can give them Front heights. So I can give a different height but if I want to give the same height, without giving it there, I can go for symmetric option in the symmetric again, the total amount of distance if I want to give, I can select the second option, it is equally distributed. Now, I'm going for the one side option and I'm going to give it taper angle. So this angle is the one that is fun between the existing sketching plane and the new plane to which it is going to be extruded. Now this sketch is actually hidden once we perform an operation, so I'm going to again show it using the browser Now without entering the sketching plane the same profiles I can use multiple number of times. So I'm going to extrude option and here you can see that I can either extruded from this face that is a sketching plane or I can select an offset plane and give some offset distance.
So, an invisible construction plane you can save will be created and from there my extrusion command is going to be executed. So, this 25 is from a distance of 50 mm from this sketching plane. So, this saves a lot of time, we don't need to again, construct an offset plane and, again, create a sketch So, using the same sketch I can extrude it. Let us see another extrusion the same way, I'm again selecting an offset plane distance of 60 that is totally about let me change this. Yet even I can select a car only till the distance that is given
